@@Omar-kl3xpIt's all odd, as someone who has a very diverse friend group, I do notice that men who are into athleticism tend to struggle with generally treating women differently. Not necessarily with sexism, just, different. As if they struggle with understanding them or how to converse with them. Which is kinda funny because when it comes to complex conversation [I do agree that there may be gender differences in how someone does small talk, counters conflict or responds], opinions are so diverse it doesn't look into gender. That's what differentiates humans, after all, our ability to ignore our first instinct and look deeper, beyond our biological programming. But before I get off topic again, I do find difficulty in puzzling out some men's inflexibility towards the more feminine. I guess one could say I don't understand why they don't understand? Maybe it's because I've been around many people, so I'm used to being around varying personalities. Maybe me being lgbt plays a role and places me in a neutral ground? Maybe very feminine women are like masculine men too, but since I haven't met many, I don't know their perspective? Or it's just about how open to new experiences some is as a person, so the issue is personality and not gender based. I don't know, just some quick thoughts

Why is it so important for men that women must be hot (look feminine) when they’re body builders? ”Still manage to look beautiful” it’s as if men have no respect for women if they’re not sexually appealing to them. Women are not sex objects. They’re not only for sex. A woman with a muscular body without looking hot is still amazing and deserves respect.

Reminds me of a good friend of mine. She threw in track and field events and was consistently on top of the rankings. She even made all American and won her state competitions in high school. She worked incredibly hard and it was awesome to see her lift huge weights for exercises like snatches. However, ever since I met her, people were awful to her about her strength. One of her teammates often made jokes about her being trans, trying to get a rise out of her by suggesting she “cheated” to get where she was. No, she discovered that she loved throwing at a young age and worked her ass off to get to the top. At almost every competition, a parent lodged a complaint that she was either competing in a bracket for younger girls or that she was on steroids. It was never the case. She is still to this day throwing at an Ivy League school and more beautiful than ever.

there’s an entire category of people who are attracted to bigger muscles. clearly you aren’t a part of that & that’s okay. you are allowed to state your OPINION about it, but you can’t phrase it like it’s a fact that applies to everyone. women with strong arms may not be attractive to YOU, but plenty of men & women are about that shit.
quite frankly the percentage of women who are strong af is super small, so it shouldn’t even matter to you anyway. you can easily avoid female body builders and still have a huge dating pool. so stop trying to make people feel bad about doing what they love, & let them find someone who loves them for who they are. that goes for everything really. live and let live my friend.
also, beauty standards will always exist to an extent, but that doesn’t mean everyone has to look the same & be the same. that would be boring and horrible cause variety is the spice of life.

The men saying they look “trans” need to grow up. They simply worked out and humans look very similar, just because they don’t have petit noses and jaw lines doesn’t make them less feminine. Women tend to have more masculine traits then people recognize, especially women from different cultures and races.

Finally, some natty female bodybuilding inspirations ✨ I'm about 11 months into my training and have never felt more feminine and confident in my own skin!
Ladies, trust me; plenty of men like muscle on a woman. It doesn't make you look 'manly' when done naturally.
While I did lose a little bit of titty (went down from 36DDD to 36C), my waist is snatched in from engaging and strengthening those abdominal muscles, and my waist and ass have gotten significantly more shapely. I LOVE my ass and hips!!
*EDIT: Forgot to mention, the muscles on your chest can also give some lift and shape to your breasts if you're lifting very heavy weights
I've inherited my large arms from my dad. After my first 6 months of training, I started getting tons of compliments from both men and women. Almost a year in and I still have not been told I look like a man.
Hope this helps anyone who is looking into lifting themselves! ✨ 💪

I couldn't gain weight prior to that no matter how much I ate. Extra pasta & chicken worked.
I got limited help from the gym & learned how to do "reps to failure" by reading.
When I wore a sports top, I looked nearly flat chested. I didn't care.
I was in my early 30s & it made such a difference.
There are genetic differences for how easy it is to stack on muscle. For a female, I get superfast results.

I love this, though I understand why his message can be misconstrued. I’m a collegiate powerlifter and love being strong, but I hate the association many times that being strong and gaining muscle as a female is simply turning me more masculine and is unflattering. I love that while I can be strong, I can still maintain feminine features and be sexy, snatched, curvy, etc because being strong and looking feminine aren’t mutually exclusive.
However, of course there are females who love the physicality of having a more masculine frame when building muscle and I admire that too! And neither them or I should be shamed for wanting to build muscle in any fashion anyways.
(And also note the kind of musculature anyone builds is largely based on genetics and the kind of targeting lifts/exercises you do in the end)

@@iii___iii okay so I realized I misread you’re reply! Whoops it’s deleted now! Anyways, testosterone dose not equal the male gender. All women have testosterone, and it’s impossible for a medical prosidure to make anyone another gender. Even in cases of transgender people, their medical prosidures are called gedner AFFIRMING, not gender creating. Meaning, no medical practice could actually change gender, rather, change thr way someone looks to agreye with how the brain wants the body to look. Basically, trans people are trans no matter if they get any injections or surgeries.
I bring this up bc if not even trans medical prosedures are considered “gender changing”, then how on earth could female body builders do that?

I never understood why so many women want to be stick thin. Most guys like curves… we’ll, most straight guys like curves. Since stick women and gay dudes run the fashion industry, I think a lot of women become convinced men want beanpole models. Athletic and toned is way better looking body type than the undernourished and pale.
