I love how you're not afraid to trim off see through ends , the result shows in your thick ends. It's one thing I'm still trying to learn, to trim off or cut off bad ends. I keep holding on waiting for it go grow a little longer so it won't look too short when I cut off the thin ends
Thank you😘😘 I feel like if I don’t then I will dwell on it and just become stressed out with the whole situation. I just try to stay on top of it. Sometimes it can get worst when you hold on to it too.
I'm happy to see I'm not the only one who doesn't use gloves while relaxing I've been doing it for years😏. I've been thinking about switching to lye for the first time but I heard it can break your hair switching from no lye to lye. Any experience with breakage? And now that you've done both which do you prefer?
The only experience I had with breakage was bc I under-processed my hair. That is definitely something to look out for. Lye relaxes the hair slower than no lye. I like both to be honest I just had to figure out how the lye worked on my hair and that took some time. No gloves gang!! 😘😘
Your hair is healthy and beautiful💜 I have the exact same reason as you for not using gloves. I will use your blow drying technique next time I relax my hair. Thank you
Your relaxer came out great. I just did mine on Tuesday, I'd been stretching since December and was supposed to relax 3wks ago so I was a little late, lol.
I just decided to switch right when I started my TH-cam channel. I just wanted to try something different but it’s been a process making sure I don’t under process my hair. Lye relaxers process slower than no lye
Your hair has grown so long and thick looks beautiful. Also how long do you keep the relaxer in for would you say? I usually try 25 minutes with a Lye relaxer but my hair is still underprocessed. I tried so many different methods with a comb, small sectionings etc, but nothing seems to work. I'm really frustrated. Can't go to a salon as I don't live near a good one.
I’m interested in relaxing my natural hair, my question is what does it look like when it’s air dryed with no heat? Like does it look “blow dried” or is it completely straight? I know it doesn’t matter but I want to make sure the end results are normal or know how it’s suppose to look LOL 💓 thank you for your help
Hi my hair is crinkly when I have air dried in the past. Like a crinkly wave. You don’t want to get the hair super super straight but you also don’t want under processed hair. I hope this helps😘😘
Hey hey sis! It’s good to see you boo. 😘 I think I may need to do a corrective relaxer......... is there a difference in the process versus a regular relaxer?
It just depends on how soon you do it. I usually try to put it on the under processed places only. Protecting the processed hair with oil or conditioner 😘😘 thank you
Oh wow that’s a long time. Have you stretched this long before? I know I would be more concerned with under processing with so much new growth. I think my longest stretch has been 6 months😘😘
@@erinlewis8150 if I do a protein treatment it is usually the hair mayonnaises by ORS. I don’t do protein treatments often bc I have low porosity hair.
Love it! My relaxer day was yesterday...4 months. I probably won't wait that long again
Iove your videos!
Thank you so much 😘😘 it’s hard stretching sometimes

I have been using the no-lye relaxer too but am considering trying out the lye relaxer
Just be careful make sure the hair doesn’t become under processed
@@chanelslifeandbeautyb2890 How can one make sure to not overprocess or underprocess?
Hair looking amazing and healthy and long!❤️💯

That’s awesome!! Sometimes it’s hard for me to stretch I guess it just depends on what I’m doing at that time to maintain my hair 😘😘 thank you

Hello! This video is exciting per usual ☺️ quick question, did you put conditioner on your ends to prevent over processing?
Thank you so much😘😘 I actually did not use conditioner this time. I used olive oil the night before
Hey! What made you switch to a Lye relaxer? I've been thinking of doing the same, but only bc the people I follow I've noticed that's what they use.
I just decided to switch right when I started my TH-cam channel. I just wanted to try something different but it’s been a process making sure I don’t under process my hair. Lye relaxers process slower than no lye

Thank you so much😘😘 I would estimate 20-25 minutes. If your still having under processed hair you may want to switch relaxers
@@chanelslifeandbeautyb2890 I might need to consider that.
Yes my kind of videos😍
Thank you 😘😘
Can you still use a foaming wrap set even though you are not roller setting ? Because I saw you doing that
Yes I like to use it because it gives me hair body😘😘
Using relaxer with NO GLOVES!! WOW
Yes that works for me😘😘
Yeahhhhh does it burn?
NO GLOVES???
No gloves lol😘😘
My thoughts exactly 😂
Do you use isoplus neutralizer shampoo
No I don’t. I use the ORS neutralizing shampoo

Any reason why you didn't use the neutralizing shampoo first?
I use the neutralizing shampoo after I relaxed. I used the ORS aloe creamy shampoo which doubles as a neutralizer
You really have control over your hair
Am still learning

Doesn't the relaxer worry your nails or fingers?
Hi no it doesn’t bother me at all. I’ve never had any problems😘😘
How long did u go without a relax?
I stretched for 13 weeks this time 😘😘
I'm due for a touch up and I'm so nervous about over processing. It's been 7 months.
Oh wow that’s a long time. Have you stretched this long before? I know I would be more concerned with under processing with so much new growth. I think my longest stretch has been 6 months😘😘
Normally, 5 or 6 months at the most. We'll see how it goes. 😘 Do you suggest a protein treatment after my touch up?

Thanks for your advice❤🌞
To anyone seeing this NEVER EVER rinse out your relaxer in the shower. It flows down your skin into your cracks and crevices like. NOT RECOMMEND
