My first guitar hero!
This is a really cool sounding etude RIk Emmett put on the Triumph album Allied Forces. It's one of the first pieces I ever learned and the melody and baroque sounding harmony blew me away.
Rik Emmett is not only an incredible singer/songwriter but he is a great rock guitar player and he is also really good at solo acoustic guitar that blends classical, jazz and folk. Each album had a different acoustic piece and they were all great but this was my favorite.
I couldn't find an accurate tab version so I did a transcription. There are a few different ways to finger the fast section, this was the way I find easiest.

Very good attempt. It is a very hard piece to master. I remember hear this piece for the first time in 1982, stunning.

You know what I subscribed to your channel I like your video but yes if you could have just slowed it down especially towards of the end that would have been wonderful but thank you finally someone has posted a lesson on this beautiful song
