I made a primitive style spear and set a challenge to catch a fish with it. The spear is a simple concept tying my hunting knife to strong wood, and it works. Living from the ocean on an uninhabited island.

Hey Cavy, next one try to straighten and harden in the fire. It’s not
that difficult but it makes a huge difference! After diving with it for
a while so it’s soaked with water. That is ideal for straightening in
the fire.
Haha that’s crazy because that was the initial plan.. But actually messed around trying to cook the fish and also didn’t even capture the eating part before the battery ran out. Still got the spear so might have to give it a shot but also want to try add a sling to it

Nice vid!!! Beautiful beach and awesome water! This spear would be great for wild boar ore something big like that. But good catch! Looks tasty! Next spear try a thicker branch and split the end in four. Put small sticks between it to keep the split open and sharpen all 4 pieces. Four spikes means three times more chance to hit!!! 🤙🤙🤙
P.s. Secure it from splitting further by tying some rope around the shaft.

I'm not much of an expert but I'm pretty sure it's you can see underwater, it just might bother your eye a bit
He wasn't under water his head was above water but camera was inside
I think it's different from person to person bc me and my dad can see (kinda) underwater but my mum and brother not at all

Can you go spearfishing there's a thing called reflection so you have to aim under the fish then over it because when the fish is is not really where it is it's right under it so pain under where your spirit because you most likely get it more fish
