  • It is an almost rectangular-shaped land, with a slight curvature at the bottom, it goes down a few meters from the entrance towards the rear, this led to the placement of two platforms, one at street level and another half a level below, which allows planting two blocks of separate buildings linked by a patio in which the stairs and corridors float, weaving the inter-floor mezzanines.
On the street level are located the entrances, the hall and space for four cars, half a level below, is the largest outpost, it contains the social areas of the house, a very intimate study that can be converted into an occasional bedroom, in the center the living room and the dining room, being the most dramatic area of the house, this is a large space crossed by a bridge, this area opens in two directions; to the internal patio that unfolds its cover at will to become exterior and at the other end it faces the garden located at the bottom of the land where you can see how the treetops rise and extends the view to the top of the center of Zapopan.
On that same level is the kitchen that opens onto the terrace, it surrounds the corner with vegetation, it is where the best perspective of the land is achieved, in fact it is a bracket without support to completely embrace the garden, under the kitchen and terrace there are some additional bathrooms for guests, linked by a staircase that subtly descends into the open space of the western easement of the building.
The house has a second internal and private staircase that gives the freedom to move around certain intimate spaces of the house independently, from the services that are under the garage, kitchen, service and bedrooms.
On the last level are the bedrooms, on two half levels, on one the main bedroom, it is a flown volume that has the best view over the small urban hill and on this same level one of the bedrooms; On the other half-higher level there are two more bedrooms that open to the south and to the street, the route is sheltered by a lattice that allows you to see the patio, but keeps the privacy of the bedrooms to the social areas, here is also the family room , this is a space with shutters that fold over the double height of the entrance, and on the other side it communicates directly to the central patio.
The house uses simple and handcrafted materials, walls of quarry strips in the patio, exposed concrete, the wood is mostly solid parota, although the stairs are forged in strips of oak. The colors are variations of gray, the metallic beams and hoses contain dark tones, the exteriors in a lower tone and the interior with more subtle variations of the same warm gray tone.
Each of the elements of the house have been individually designed to accentuate the concept, ranging from lightness to massiveness, such as the bridge that is closed to the room and open and transparent to the patio, joining the paper stairs with subtle crystals but they are accompanied by large wide walls of irregular parota.
Both furniture such as bookcases, chests of drawers, desks, etc. They were projected for each space, the idea was to have, as far as possible, a single language of the whole.
The gardens were respectful of the old existing trees, but at the same time, woven with new vegetation, which was carefully studied in each of its areas.

I had a dream about a 3 level home last night. I say level because you cant see the higher levels until you are on the side of it. I have been searching the internet all day to find anything comparable. When I saw this I almost fell out of my chair! The inside is the same exactly the same. The exterior of the one in my dream had beautiful glossy wood on the front.

유리 지붕이 개폐되는 것 같습니다. '덮개를 마음대로 펼치면 외부가 되는 내부 파티오로' 라고 설명이 돼 있네요.

It’s called open concept. And every owner of the house has their own personality and it can show in their taste of home design.
