The problem riding like this is it only takes one time, don’t even gotta be your fault. Lost one of my best friends when I was about 22, he hit some loose road and lost it into some trees. His body was absolutely mangled. Head still in his helmet probably 30 feet from the rest of him. I Was never the same after that and sold my bike maybe 4 months later. Stay safe man and if you can resist the urge and save the go fast for the track. I’m sure a lot of people like having you around.
yep same hear but we were riding the drogons tail and a dear ran out in front of my buddy -going about 50 never had time to do anything i got rid of my bike shortly after havnt been on 1 for 32 years now i miss it but miss him more and always get the nightmares from time to time -we need all the organ donors we can get but at that speed there wont be any left worth harvesting ....
Youre right its wild. Ive been riding on and off for a few years and a ton recently. A few weeks ago I test rode an Aprilia Dorsoduro 750 Supermoto with 92 horsepower and 60 ft lbs of tourqe and that thing felt incredibly fast. With a quick blip you went from 30 to 70 and it still had plenty of room without even switching gears. I can only imagine how fast a 200hp liter bike feels. Ive driven some pretty quick street cars (400-500 horsepower) and the 92 horsepower Aprillia Supermoto felt way faster.

I thought that too until I brought home my 2020 S1000rr M home in 2019! I thought my Fugn bike was broken but the dealer said oh no its just until we take the governor off after 600miles! Brentuning saved that bike from being sold and unlocked what I originally thought I was paying for! At 580 miles I flashed it in the dealer parking lot before I drove off because I wasn't going to keep it if it was going to keep pretending to identify as a 600!

The cars up ahead don't see you flying up at 170mph and they certainly won't react to you in time and at those speeds you aren't going to be able to react in time either. So somebody decides to change lanes? You're toast. Any hard corrections or maneuvers you make will send you into one of those retaining walls, or the trees, or another car, or a guard rail, or your friend and you are NOT living through it. These are not race cars on a track with safety technology meant to keep you alive at 200mph, these are Road Bikes with ZERO protection for you, and NO helmet or gear you can buy is going to cushion that impact enough, so not only are you risking your life by just moving at those speeds, it amplifies the risks everything else and everyone else poses to you, hell even wildlife. Not to mention you can easily kill somebody else. Bricks and stones coming through windows at 60mph and less have killed people and that footage exists if you're so inclined. Imagine a whole motorcycle coming through a window at 100mph more than that.

My last day riding a motorcycle. Was the day that I was minding my own business driving to work on a Saturday. The highway was basically empty I was in the center lane cruising at only 83 miles an hour. Out of nowhere a car flew past me in the right lane then he slowed down and did a three lane change directly in front of me. Tapping my front wheel with his rear bumper. I don't ride bikes anymore. Many years later my back hurts every single day of my life. No matter what I take for it, no matter how much therapy I had. I have to live in pain because of the way a car was driving.
Pro tip: pull over before the cop pulls you over.. it throws them off and the ball is in your court. Then when he pulls over with you, you can say “do you know why I pulled you over?” 😂
For the cop part, their mistake was pulling in front of him. as long as the cop is in front, nothing he can do. So they already knew they were going to run when they decided to pass him.
Actually the cops respect you a lot more and usually let you slide when you don't run. But I get that it is hard to to take that chance. But, it isn't a chance if you ride with reason. I've been riding 45+ year and never got a speeding ticket even when I was speeding because I speed at a relative pace. Not 2-3 times above the flow of traffic.

Reason he mightve pulled you over is on the R1 he didnt have a licence plate idk about Pennsylvania law much but I believe if a plate isnt mounted in a visible way that is a reason for a stop. Or like everyone else said but i believe highly unlikely due to your speed that someone called you in.

5:57 . Yeah this tends to happen on 202. Cops LOOOOOVE to sit on it. You should see how fast you can go from Sumneytown pike 476 south on ramp to 276 west to Harrisburg. Its almost exactly 10 miles and fun to rip. Or just see how long it takes to get to the lehigh tunnels from sumneytown. Tough with construction tho.
I love fast bikes! That being said one thing that isn’t discussed is the financial burden on yourself and family if your badly injured but survive. I had a friend vaporize (hit metal poles) in my side view. Riding right at your limits on the street isn’t repeatable for very long.
Lol the way the officer would say it. 1. Doing approximately 10 mph over the limit 2. (If you didn't signal) improper Lane change 3. Someone called you in and you fit the description, based on their account of what they saw, reckless driving. 4. When you slowed down into the 50s you were then impeding traffic (just how they can add another ticket). Had you stopped this is likely what they would try to write up. In their eyes, what you think was nothing they see as a whole slew of charges they can write up

The issue is the lack of maturity. There's a place to race and it's never on a roadway with other traffic. These idiots could do serious harm to someone simply making a lane change, or someone panicking and losing control trying to get out of their way. This was also one of his last statements as he hit a brance from a tree that was on the road in 2020 at Isle Of Man. Edmin, you will be missed Man. Watching his video's has provided a lot of riders, great insight about racing and life lessons. He was so wise, he never ever rode with a plate. And never stopped for the Cop's. In another one of his vids, i remember him talking about how wearing the appropriate gear. Just might save your life from a wreck beyond 100 MPH. I never really got into bike's until me and my Boyfriend were on a road in Japan, it started pouring rain. We continued cruising around 100-120 KPH, and went around a slight corner. The bike immediately slid out, and me and My boyfriend slid to a stop. My arm hurt a bit from hitting the pavement. My BF hurt his back. He went to the chiropractor, and i just took Acetaminophen/Tylenol. 2 days later we were fine. My point is though, if you go down at 100 KPH, or 60 MPH. You're gonna get hurt, if you're fully geared up. You'll walk away without any injuries. 9/10 time's. I started riding last year, bought a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR and, ever since that wreck though. I learned to always Respect the machine. And i used to hate doing maintenance, like depressurizing the Shocks, Changing the Oil, Air filter. But now i look forward to it. So just, keep wearing your gear. And watch out for $tup!d people who don't know how to drive. ❤️ ✌️
Man, that's scary! When i was in my early 20s, i used to ride with crazy friend that dont have license to operate the bike but he loves to taunt the cops. Watching this reminds me of crazy life we were playing with.
Starting at 2:11 several cars later couldn't see the honda civic in front of the van, that one situation had so many potentially undesirable outcomes... Not saying what to do or judging, making the point your own videos are actually a great tool to fine tune how you do what you so you can do what you do in a safer way.

All fun and games till splat! Take it from me, if you wreck you may prefer dying. I had a motorcycle accident 2 years ago. Wasnt my fault and only doing about 45 mph. Broken legs, ribs, shoulder, concussion, injured nerves in my eye resulting in severe double vision. Most have healed but still 2 years later and I still can't do some of the athletic things I did before the accident.
I am a Busa rider and I don’t do this even though I do love to go fast I do not weave in and out of traffic I may find a gap in the traffic to get out in front and away from the rolling crowd that is the danger of all motorcycles but I would never do this. It’s effing crazy. I have been riding 50 years and I love my speed and I am a total adrenaline junkie, but I would never be this damn stupid. if he continues, he will die and it will be instant or incredibly painful.

The adrenaline high mixed with feeling untouchable, skilled, and brave makes this difficult to stop doing. Its not that simple. One can also experience withdrawal when trying to stop.
My buddy in law enforcement years old, loved sport bikes. A truck took off his leg in a second. In his line of work, there wasn't a desk job for him. Out of a job. I loved riding my Road King to Daytona, etc. I went over my handle bars when I was 16. Hit a oil slick and torn up my bike and needed new shoes in my 50's. Too many close calls and I sold my bike. My wife was happen, I was sad. I still look and my friends invite me to ride, then say 'oh that's right, you don't have a bike anymore' . Oh, well. Ride Safe and keep the rubber side down.
When riding with my buddy, a van stopped short, and his leg flew over my head and landed in on coming traffic, everyone ran it over. He was screaming for people to bring his leg back over to him. Another riding buddy was flirting with girls walking on the side walk, and a car stopped short, and he caught his nuts on the bike gas cap, and it ripped them off . The girls were freaking out. lol Ride safe, it always catches up to you when you least expect it !.

Reason he mightve pulled you over is on the R1 he didnt have a licence plate idk about Pennsylvania law much but I believe if a plate isnt mounted in a visible way that is a reason for a stop. Or like everyone else said but i believe highly unlikely due to your speed that someone called you in.

5:57 . Yeah this tends to happen on 202. Cops LOOOOOVE to sit on it. You should see how fast you can go from Sumneytown pike 476 south on ramp to 276 west to Harrisburg. Its almost exactly 10 miles and fun to rip. Or just see how long it takes to get to the lehigh tunnels from sumneytown. Tough with construction tho.
I love fast bikes! That being said one thing that isn’t discussed is the financial burden on yourself and family if your badly injured but survive. I had a friend vaporize (hit metal poles) in my side view. Riding right at your limits on the street isn’t repeatable for very long.

2. (If you didn't signal) improper Lane change
3. Someone called you in and you fit the description, based on their account of what they saw, reckless driving.
4. When you slowed down into the 50s you were then impeding traffic (just how they can add another ticket).
Had you stopped this is likely what they would try to write up. In their eyes, what you think was nothing they see as a whole slew of charges they can write up

Watching his video's has provided a lot of riders, great insight about racing and life lessons. He was so wise, he never ever rode with a plate. And never stopped for the Cop's. In another one of his vids, i remember him talking about how wearing the appropriate gear. Just might save your life from a wreck beyond 100 MPH.
I never really got into bike's until me and my Boyfriend were on a road in Japan, it started pouring rain. We continued cruising around 100-120 KPH, and went around a slight corner. The bike immediately slid out, and me and My boyfriend slid to a stop. My arm hurt a bit from hitting the pavement. My BF hurt his back. He went to the chiropractor, and i just took Acetaminophen/Tylenol.
2 days later we were fine.
My point is though, if you go down at 100 KPH, or 60 MPH. You're gonna get hurt, if you're fully geared up. You'll walk away without any injuries. 9/10 time's.
I started riding last year, bought a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR and, ever since that wreck though. I learned to always Respect the machine. And i used to hate doing maintenance, like depressurizing the Shocks, Changing the Oil, Air filter. But now i look forward to it.
So just, keep wearing your gear.
And watch out for $tup!d people who don't know how to drive.

All fun and games till splat! Take it from me, if you wreck you may prefer dying. I had a motorcycle accident 2 years ago. Wasnt my fault and only doing about 45 mph. Broken legs, ribs, shoulder, concussion, injured nerves in my eye resulting in severe double vision. Most have healed but still 2 years later and I still can't do some of the athletic things I did before the accident.

I am a Busa rider and I don’t do this even though I do love to go fast I do not weave in and out of traffic I may find a gap in the traffic to get out in front and away from the rolling crowd that is the danger of all motorcycles but I would never do this. It’s effing crazy. I have been riding 50 years and I love my speed and I am a total adrenaline junkie, but I would never be this damn stupid. if he continues, he will die and it will be instant or incredibly painful.

My buddy in law enforcement years old, loved sport bikes. A truck took off his leg in a second. In his line of work, there wasn't a desk job for him. Out of a job.
I loved riding my Road King to Daytona, etc. I went over my handle bars when I was 16. Hit a oil slick and torn up my bike and needed new shoes in my 50's. Too many close calls and I sold my bike. My wife was happen, I was sad. I still look and my friends invite me to ride, then say 'oh that's right, you don't have a bike anymore' . Oh, well. Ride Safe and keep the rubber side down.

When riding with my buddy, a van stopped short, and his leg flew over my head and landed in on coming traffic, everyone ran it over. He was screaming for people to bring his leg back over to him. Another riding buddy was flirting with girls walking on the side walk, and a car stopped short, and he caught his nuts on the bike gas cap, and it ripped them off . The girls were freaking out. lol Ride safe, it always catches up to you when you least expect it !.
