@@petepictures This adapter was only designed for the Contax G line up. I wasnt able to acquire all the lens to try. This adapter is quite old which is good because firmware should be mature.
Just got it for my ZF and it doesn't work.. It will work for a few minutes and then stops working. You have to power off and power on again for get it to work but then it stops again
@@jcphenix1 I did contact them.. no response. Still waiting on a reply. I searched around in other groups and apparently it doesn't work for the Nikon Z9 as well
@@jcphenix1 Update: I found the firmware update. Searched everywhere for it since its not even listed on the Techart website. So far been playing with the autofocus for almost an hour and it still hasnt shut off on me. Im guessing the firmware update fixed it
@@theCameraVille 😂😂 I used my 24-105 Sony f4 for the first time in nearly two years the other day, I've got so used to using my collection of vintage manual lenses I'd almost forgotten how to use an AF lens lol

This will work with any of the Contax G lens. Its designed for it.

Following up with vendor. This adaptor does not focus with a Contax G and Nikon Zf. Very unhappy with product.

Nikon should consider making ftz adapters with screw drive af like this one
