Great video brother. 224 miles is a HAUL and that chop probably makes makes it feel like 300. BTW check out those Mako pole spears. They make a carbon roller that's 9' of lean and mean with a slip tip or a double flopper. Love mine!
Looked like an amazing trip My Son and his Girlfriend managed Firefly for a year , they came back this past March. She is fourth gen from Hopetown and still has tons of family there. I'm headed there next June 28 th and want to take my 27 dauntless across (twin 225) half to pick the right day obviously . Her Dad said he would do it w me as he's done dozens of times and still lives there. leaving from Palm beach and checking in at Spanish Cay . You have any plans to return?
Btw, we pronounced Treasure Cay (Key, not Kay). Don't ask me why. I grew up in Abaco in the 1970 - 1984, before coming to Connecticut. I love when folks enjoy the out islands of The Bahamas. Pre-touristy Abaco was incredibly wonderful, quiet, wholesome, natural, and not so warm. Nights of starry skies made for great memories for me.
I bet it was an awesome time for sure. Those memories can not be replaced. I feel the same about Daytona Beach where I was born and raised. Great memories. Tight lines!
Dude, I hope I can join your fleet to the Bahamas next time y’all go!!!
Yeah man!
