Hey guys. The Lund adventure like my Lund impact Is a basic livewell design. I did some upgrades to mine to help during tournies. Th Marine advanced water pickup so this way I can continuously pump water into the livewell when on plane especially for long runs on the big water. I also added a power bubbles system to keep the water well oxygenated. These 2 systems have cured a lot of my issues during pike and bass tournies in hot water. St. Clair last yr with water temps in high 70s did not lose 1 fish. Pump on manual all day. See u guys on the water this yr. Al
Great video! I’ve always wanted to fish there since I was a kid seeing the huge muskies that come out of the bay. Hopefully someday. Keep up the great work
Yep , it's not ideal to keep them in livewells. Tournaments make it tough. There are things you can do to help them out (we have since learned) including livewells treatment and ice/recirc plan. We have a blog post on it at www.newwavefishingacademy.com
Fishing small mouth tournaments in the heat with warm water…. Where is your ice? Where is your g juice? Where is the fizzing if needed, Sure it’s cool to catch the winning weight, fish care is almost more important. I’ve learned my lesson from loosing a fish from the win. Talking about “self proclaimed professionals”
We aren't really sure if you are trying to make a point or just trying to insult here. Keep in mind this is an edited video so you don't see everything but we did have ice, and even made a 2nd stop for more ice before stopping fishing and hiding in the shade for over 3 hours to keep the fish cool since we could not weigh in early. We also clearly said in the video we need to learn how to do better for future tournaments should we choose to enter them as what we did was not enough. We could have chose not to share this information at all but we feel it is important so others can Learn with us from our mistakes. That being said following the tournament we looked into ways to ensure optimal live well conditions and released this blog post www.newwavefishingacademy.com/post/keeping-fish-alive

No weeds just gravel and boulders. We have courses that outline exactly how we target these fish and many other species on our website!
Those big brude smallies get so stressed in those wells during tourneys on gbay
