A couple of years ago I had an encounter with what i thought was an air nymph? I remember like it was yesterday her casually floating past my window as I was watching the sun rise. As we made eye contact she came right over to my window where we both reached out and touched the window pane with our fingers. We were literally touching except for the glass in between our fingertips. She was absolutely stunning her beauty breathtaking. Her hair was long her skin transparent but energy body form clear as day. We were so close up I could see she was covered in what looked like many tiny water droplets like condensation almost. Her smile mesmerising. Her energy lite me right up she sent my vibrations soo high my whole body was visibly vibrating my teeth were chattering like I was shivering. I assumed she was an air nymph as she was floating in the sky but now thinking a water nymph like you’ve described ?? In Cambodia, many believe in tree or jungle spirits that can sometimes take human form. I guess they're very much like nymphs.
I would argue (respectfully) that the Eastern European Samodiva, Malka or Iele are nymphs/minor goddesses have just as much ability as fairies- and have a similiar temperament. As their mythos is likely mixed with some Greco-Roman mythos due to trade between the ancient countries, it might be interesting to compare them with this more Western version. 💗

In where i came from we have nymphs but we call them diwata. If u encounter one, your a lucky and choosen to be seen by them. They do not let some random person see them. They live in another realms and dimension but still residing on this Planet Earth..
Some say if the nymphs like you. They will make u eat something on their realms and if u eat that food, ur physical body dies and ur soul will reside in their realms.
