- Jammin on my Kala UBass to one of the greatest musicians of all time! Big ups to one of my biggest Bass Heroes too, Mr Nate Watts who is the original Bassist on the track and is still Stevie's Bass Player now.

Yes they are tuned like normal basses. These are some of the most fun basses to play and this is a great cover. Stevie Wonder is my favorite musician and Nate Watts is a bass phenom.

So good! I've been looking for a video that properly showcases the U bass. Too many dudes out there playing chords on it. Makes me want to grab a crucifix and command them back to Hell, from whence they came. "Back, guitar hero! I say back!" Or without an amp or proper microphone placement to allow us to hear the BASS. I will be getting one soon.

Well brother, you are definitely on the journey to reaching his skills. By-The-Way, I just bought the fretless one and its a blast!!! Now it sounds like I have a stand up bass backing up my crappy homegrown multi-tracks... It may not sound like a very skilled player playing it, but it's still cool to sound like I have one...LOL!!! After checking out 10s of kala ubass videos that showed the instrument too boomy and sound not contained, i still wasnt completely sure about buying one and this here just got me sold. Awesome playing man and great punchy sound.
