Ador 🌻! Te îmbrățișez! 🤗
I think you should try the auctions again, they can be very profitable but there are a lot of things to keep in mind and you really need to view before. I go to a small local auction every couple of months and have have found some lovely deals 😊
Not all bellpulls have a bell. I was given one as a gift, brand new reproduction embroidered, and there was no bell. This is because now most people do not have servants to ring the bell for; it's just now a beautiful decoration for the living room or dining room. Great video! Glue that cow back together and state it was repaired.
Oh Angela 😆 I so relate to your impulsiveness. I've had a lot of moments, getting things home and realising there was a flaw I didn't see, those low-lit antique shops make it hard to see the flaws until you get it on the 'photo table of truth' LOL But much like you, I will never learn! Just yesterday I paid aud$40 for a pair of 1930s aprons, which I didn't check close enough....... 😅 oh well. What's the point of being an antique dealer if you can't throw your money away? 😉
Hi Angela, I started following your channel and really enjoy the content. i have always wanted to sell vintage home decor and now i have bought a few items and plan to sell them. My biggest dilemma is how to identify which period the items are from when it is simply difficult to find information about them. I don't want to mislead people by giving wrong information. do you have this problem and if so how do you address it? Thank you 🙂
When I’m not sure I just don’t give any information about the period, I prefer to do that than give the wrong info. ☺️ With ceramics it’s usually easy, the marks on them are very helpful. With the rest I just search on google, and if there’s nothing there then I just don’t mention nothing about it either. 😅 Good luck with your new venture and thanks so much for the subscribe! ♥️
Lovely way to spend Sunday morning, having a coffee and looking at your fabulous vintage haul! ❤
Aww thank you so much, it means a lot to me! 🥰
I like how you always explain things in great detail. ❤
I also have a bunch of failed auction items at home.😂
Ahh so frustrating isn’t it? 😂🙈
Thank you for the auction warnings!
Let me know if you’ll try them! ♥️
Such a great video Angela, you've got some incredible bargains! I also love that brass easel 🤍 I recently found one in a charity shop for £10 🙌🏼 xx
Ahh such a lucky find!! 😍 I’d definitely buy another one if I found one ☺️

Multumesc, Amalia! Și mie îmi place mult tabloul ăla, are niște culori așa calde ♥️ Să ai o duminică frumoasă!

I think I’ll try them again and I’ll try to be smarter ❤️ There’s one on Friday and I’m sooo tempted 😬

Thanks Lili, I’m glad you liked it! I’ll try to glue the cow, maybe I can get a better price for it 😍 It has the nicest colours too!

That’s true hahaha! I get so annoyed with myself though, to make such rookie mistakes 🤣
@@angelasvintageshop I know I do the same, I've been at this since the 90s! I think I'll just always be a rookie 😅
🤣🤣🤣

Enjoy your Sunday, Amanda ♥️
Beware auction fever.
So dangerous! Yesterday I looked again but haven’t registered to bid, I tried to stay strong 🤣💪
I think the glass lidded pot is an ice bucket
Great idea, I think it can be used as that as well! ♥️
