It was invented by Irishman Harry Ferguson and became known thereafter as The Ferguson System. The creator and his system are the focus for this enlightening programme.

My dad taught me to plow with a to 35 Ferguson along time a go that was a good all around tractor used it to plant corn and soybeans at planting time it pull a jd 494a 4 row planter. Had jd no5 mower with a 7 ft cutter bar just a good all round tractor .

I have a furguson tractor at home 1952 furguson TE-20 with a raising a lowing system usfull it’s the first modern tractor

why did paint them grey?,rember little one been sitting idle granmas farm for years was red?it did get sprayed grey and was restored,

they were painted grey for a good reason, after the war in britain there were tons and tons of grey naval paint, not needed anymore because the war was had ended harry ferguson got the paint and painted all the tractors with it, its special paint that lasts for years made for battleships thats why most of the little fergies hasnt lost their colour or rotted very much.
