I've barely seen any of the Taro series, but I love his design. Now that I'm finally catching back up with my Ultraman collection, this was an instant buy

The more accurate head sculpt, the 70's faded red colour, the crumply suit effect, I can see a time portal opening behind me and out come myself from 20 years ago, smacking me on the head for still "contemplating" on getting this figure of my most nostalgic Ultra hero as soon as possible.
Mold-wise. I prefer the Ultra-Act releases, as they are idealized designs without the limitations of a live action suit. But articulation/engineering would go to Figuarts.
I'm watching out for Ace's because I missed getting him last year, and now he's super expensive! I hope his figure is re-released this year since it's his 50th anniversary.

I got this back when it was released. Very nice figure. Once Ace is released, we'll have all of the original Ultra brothers in Figuarts form.

Damn there is to many ultramans! Are they all brothers? Or is it every ultraman is different story? Are they all connected?
They are all related. Some are closer than others. Each Ultraman has their own story.

Ultraman Taro. Son of Ken. Father of Taigo. He is the ultimate traitor thus far.
What did he betray?
He betrayed not only his son Taigo, but the Ultra brothers as well.
If I really need to say it, Ultraman Taro took a Treegear capsule which caused him to physically assault Taigo.
