Right? I know it's a bit late to actually say anything, but I wish I had been around for the first video's release to let him know that pressing forward and light attack at the same time is why he was kicking.
Fun, yet very disturbing fact; someone dug into an early version of DS3 and found that Oceiros was actually holding a baby in his hand. However due to that phase transition part it might have been a bit dark to see. So they removed the baby, but the animations and baby sounds are still present.
Aldrich is the slug slime thing the god is the human looking torso. You also see this boss in the opening cinematics and find his open tomb in cathedral of the deep
Respect for willingly giving up on the twinblades. And that pride of not just running through the mobs, that's a certified souls player moment. Anyway, the kick is used to kick down the shields, which ironically would be useful for that exact enemy, lol.
Through out Oceiros boss fight you can see him clutching something close to his chest and that being his invisible child Ocelotte. And during 17:44 he slams the shit outta his child, reverting back to the monster he has become.
oh yeah the lore is wild, the first boss in the video was actually a slime that was controlling the corpse of a god , like a manifestation of the sin of Gluttony eating royalty up
the reason that you kick is when you push the stick forward to move and also press attack, it is a kick. also, in the consumed kings garden, you can find the greatsword, which if you are max level and put chaos on it, has the highest base damage of any weapon in the game if i remember correctly
You know, as much as I’m happy that I don’t have to wait to watch him play DS3, I’m sad that Plin Plin Plon guy won’t have the same impact to him as he could’ve. Him, and the No Name Nobody.
You are really funny man cant wait for the next video, also good ear on hearing the baby. On a side note, investigate the consumed king boss area, maybe you will find something interesting...
Overhyped boss. Took me 3 or 5 tries to beat on my first playthrough but then again every ds3 boss is easy except for sister friede and maybe midir but even he took me 6 tries to beat. This is coming from a guy who beat everysingle DS3 boss.
10:40 the kick has a very specific use. if an enemy has a shield then you can kick and it will knock their sword away, for small enemies with wooden shields, one kick and you can do a repost (the backstab animation that does a lot of damage) for big enemies with the metal shields it takes two and sometimes three kicks but it will break their guard eventually and you can repost. (rep ost not re-post like you would on someones comment.) edit: there are more bosses, there is one boss at the very end called the soul of cinder and that's the last boss. from now until the soul of cinder is completely fine for you to beat bosses, they won't send you into a cutscene. edit2: 16:00 he's holding an invisible child, he calls him ocelotte, child of dragons, in the second phase he slams the ground with the hand in which he is holding the child but throughout the second phase you can hear a crying child in the background as well, so he obviously doesn't kill it. the backstory of these characters is very obscure but vaatividya does an amazing job if you'd like to hear about it.
Dude the kick is actually a useful attack. It kicks shields out of the way in one, maybe two hits if they had full stamina. Knocks the shield away and leaves then wide open
Floverse, I have been watching your video's for the last few weeks. Dark Souls and the Soulslike games you've covered is no childsplay, and the way you keep the content engaging and so darn funny, I will always come back for more! Keep it up champ💪
In refrence to the "dragon" at 6:15 no one really fully knows what they are, there are theories but there's never been anytthing conclusive about them besides that they're called pilgrim butterflies
Chaos bed vestiges is a top tier pyromancy spell even in pvp if you can time it a little, you also need to upgrade the pyromancy flame thingy that lets you use it
For anyone who isnt sure the dead giant in anot londo is the same giant from darks souls 1, this is because in dark souls 3, its been a long time and he died where he was working😢
Am I tweaking or do you have the Lies of P main theme as background music? @6:00 Btw the kick is used to break the shield when the spear guy is in guard
You can buy boss weapons from midget and armors from old hag. In the oceros arena there's yoga pose to get, you need to strike it in irithyll dungeon next to corpse of yoga dragon dude to get strongest secret base game boss. Behind the invisible wall in oceros arena there's secret area with rematch against one of early bosses.
I'd recommend finishing base game but not going into new game+ before you start DLCs, since they are scaled for after the base game. If you do DLC and then final boss, he will be a joke.
listen man i love the content you make, but I just wish you would upload this stuff ether every day or every 2 days. you by far the best content creators I have seen and your killing it man keep up the good work
Yo I'm in the middle of my first ds3 run, I have half of the same reactions to the world it's so amazing. Love your vids and personality. New sub incoming! Keep up the great word bud
Next to the healer, red eye and other knight in the castle, there's a ladder if i remember. You can go up it and kill the dragon. Just remember where the dragon is in 3d space and try to make your way there in the castle
Dude, you need to head back to the flame keeper in the beginning of the game and upgrade those weapons. The giants coal needs to head to Andre the Blacksmith so he get some real power to your weapons, also as soon as you beat a boss head to the bonfire, upgrade your stamina and your weapon. It will really save your life. Use your embers, before you head into boss rooms. Sometimes there might be a summon to help you with bosses.
Ironically when u were fighting the knight with the shield and asking why there's a kick in the game, the kick is to break shields. Break the shield out the way and repost
What confuses me about Oceiros and him not having his child visible likely due to censorchip, is that Dead Space 2 came out with the exploding baby necromorphs and the child necros with claws. They still managed to release?
Please finish this game. I also wanted to recommend you to look into the lore a bit, it's same like all fromsoft games... Lore is just amazing and deep. And I hope that you have both DLCs as well, you gonna have alot of fun there.
The Blacksmith the you find near the start of the video forgot what his name is but actually is one of the npcs in DS1 that crafts some boss weapons nice call backs to ds1/2 in this game. Great send off to the series as whole wont be another game like this for awhile imo.
I think this game is pretty balanced. Maybe it's because Elden Ring was my first ever Souls game (and I didn't figure out spirit summons until probably 3/4 into the game). So yeah, talk about trial by fire. I'm about 1/2 through Dark Souls 3 and I've had a few tough run-ins but nothing I can't handle after a few tries. It's challenging and fun, doesn't make me want to rip my hair out.
What is your weapon upgrade level dude? With the access to areas you have already been to, your weapon can be at +4 already (boss weapons only upgrade up to +5, unlike regular physical weapons that go to +10)
Anor londo is a return to a dark souls 1 area… and the big dead giant you got the giants coal from is a fan favorite blacksmith from dark souls 1
Yelling "who uses the kick" while fighting a shield enemy is definitely something.
Right? I know it's a bit late to actually say anything, but I wish I had been around for the first video's release to let him know that pressing forward and light attack at the same time is why he was kicking.
Honestly, every time I fight a shield guy, I never remember that kicking is for thm.
Fun, yet very disturbing fact; someone dug into an early version of DS3 and found that Oceiros was actually holding a baby in his hand. However due to that phase transition part it might have been a bit dark to see. So they removed the baby, but the animations and baby sounds are still present.
Yeah, now they just say in the lore that Oceiros is crazy and there ain’t no baby.
@@dragopenguinno dragon human cross breeds can go invisible according to lore
ahh yes Oceiros killing the baby too dark
@loxx2536 ironic for a game named dark souls
@@ItzSuperFellait's different because that would be a baby smashed on the floor alive
0:45 "Who the hell are you?"?! That , sir, is your only friend from Dark souls 1!!!

The kick is really helpful to break shields and knock a guy back
Naw it’s useless
oh the irony comedy of him not knowing why kicks are a thing when he's in the perfect situation to use it
Aldrich is the slug slime thing the god is the human looking torso. You also see this boss in the opening cinematics and find his open tomb in cathedral of the deep

haha the knight standing in the doorway at the end. Like "Hey whatcha doing in here"
Dude, watching your playthrough of this game has been so awesome. I hope to see you beat the whole game then go onto the DLC!
Please continue doing this DS3 series, I know it can get frustrating but I promise you it's worth it! Thanks for the fire upload keep them up! 🙌🔥
Through out Oceiros boss fight you can see him clutching something close to his chest and that being his invisible child Ocelotte. And during 17:44 he slams the shit outta his child, reverting back to the monster he has become.
13:38 made me weak I swear to god brother couldn't even speak no more 🤣🤣🤣
It makes me sad when i see him exploring anor londo without care in the world whyle my heart is breaking.
"Who ever uses the kick?" - Stands before a greatshield enemy XD
"Who uses kicks ever!?"
I mean it's use to break shields
Lothric's defensive line is still holding up in 2024!
The miracle that blocks spell usage makes Aldrich hilariously trivial
Wait.... We can use that against him..???

Love your videos! You gotta play DS1 to really appreciate Anor Londo in DS3, and to understand the boss fight so much more deeply.
the reason that you kick is when you push the stick forward to move and also press attack, it is a kick. also, in the consumed kings garden, you can find the greatsword, which if you are max level and put chaos on it, has the highest base damage of any weapon in the game if i remember correctly

The kick breaks their shield block. It's good. Just know the input lol
Lothric castle unfair? Does he know? He doesn't know?
I use kick all the time, pretty useful against shields.
You should get the pyromancy flame, makes things much easier, go back to the undead settlement and find the pyromancer

He didn't find two pontiff dogs in the basement of irtithyl, nor the demon in undead settlement or early entrence to cave under tree boss
11:04 who the hell using kicks in this game(proceeds to fight enemy for which kicking was designed) love the content bro :)))
You can dial wield gs you’re holding and still use the weapon art. It’ll increase your attack damage by .5
You mean holding with both hands? This sword is unique in a sense that two handed won't not raise attack.
Man, one handing a sword with your left hand being empty, that is one way of playing this game 🙈
Dude, you need to head back to the flame keeper in the beginning of the game and upgrade those weapons. press foward and attack at the same time to kick enemies who uses shield
