BARCELONA GIRLS TRIP!
Finally, a well needed girls trip. Can you believe Beth and I have been friends since school and this is our first time visiting a country together! It was filled with belly laughter, good food, shopping, tones of walking and exploring!
Went too fast but here’s the lowdown…
Itinerary;
Day 1
7:30am flight London stansted - Josep Tarradellas Barcelona
Arrived at 10:30am
Checked into Gran hotel Havana
Headed for lunch at Berry Brunch at 12pm (book a reservation!)
Walked around to see Casa Batlló
most places are completely shut on Sundays so bare in mind!
Drinks at Orient Express. Got there for 4 when it opened as you can’t reserve and it got busy
McDonald’s Donald’s for dinner because we just needed easy food then get some sleep!
Day 2
Shopping - H&M and Zara are the prettiest shops I’ve ever been to!
Sephora slide - fun free thing to do
La Sagrada Familia- we didn’t get tickets and regretted that. Tried to get some on the day but of course was sold out for the next 2 weeks. Buy them online a few weeks in advance!
Brunch and cake is super close by and was really cute lunch/snack spot
More shopping and exploring
Dinner at Feroz (we booked and weren’t sat in the main room because it was full and this was just a Monday)
Day 3
Park Guell (BOOK YOUR TICKETS) you don’t want to get all the way up there to find out it’s sold out. We got ours from get your guide for about £10 each.
La Boqueria food market. We did this at lunch time to grab some food. Some markets were very similar so we spent no more than about an hour here. Be careful of pick pockets here!!
Nacional d’art de catalunya (art museum)- we didn’t go inside but you can get tickets there.
Teleferic de Montjuic - cable cars to the castle. We didn’t go inside but you can get tickets when you’re up there
Monk- hidden bar. Can’t make reservations but got there when they opened at 6 and was already full. Fun experience!
Tapeo for dinner- was highly recommended but I wouldn’t say it was anything to rave about personally. We did book and there was a que outside the whole time we were there
Day 4
Arc de triomf
El Born CCM - came across it while walking. It’s free to enter and look around at the history. Walked to we wear dolls for welded bracelet. Opened at 12 was told to get there 11:30 to be first in line. Only 4 people allowed in at a time. Shut at 7pm but close line at 5pm. You will be in the line for hours so factor that into your day

Cuitadella Park - lovely to walk around. Good free activity with the option of boats on the water
Barceloneta beach
