love how detailed the video is. Looks like an incredible model even with the a few flaws. I just wish they would make a version without any of the BTTF stuff, so its a regular DMC12.
This is probably the best review and unboxing video for the Part 2 time machine yet. Love the unbiasedness of it! Looks like you might have a few defects, Perhaps Hot Toys can address?
The amount of detail and ground you covered is phenomenal. Definitely the most thorough review/unboxing/critique I have seen so far! I almost felt like I was unboxing it myself (alas I probably won't be ) 😞
On the back top wires. I think the left side wires go to the right side and the right-side wires attached to the left side. That's how I did it. Fits good.
Excellent video. I'm getting mine this week and will refer to it to assist me with the assembly. What are your thoughts on the Mike Lane decals? Are they worth getting for this model?
For the ones he has for the 1/6 scale DeLorean I think the Goodyear white lettering for the tires would be worth it to improve screen accuracy. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the thorough review but you forgot to talk about the USB port underneath! Looking forward to your comparison of the Gen 1 time machine and this new one. Cheers from the UK
@@DeLoreanTECH Thanks! I just saw your comparison -- thanks for doing that. You're right about Issue #1. There's a few inaccuracies that Hot Toys could have corrected but chose not to! Essentially they passed those Mark 1 inaccuracies over to the Mark 2. The only correction to the model itself appears to be the front and rear bumper color which looks like the DeLorean Time Machine from the movies now.
I measured it and without doors open it’s about 16.5” tall. With doors open it’s about 21.5” tall. Hope that helps! My display case is too short to display it so going to wait for them to make one that does.
@@DeLoreanTECH dang. Ok, we’ll that helps my case buying decision. Thank you very much. You’re the first person, that I know, that’s given these measurements.
For sure! Another missed opportunity by Hot Toys in their copy+paste of the Mark 1 to the Mark 2. This is what I tried pointing out in Issue #1 of my Top 10 Problems video. We can add the door lights to the (growing) list of items to Issue #1!
For the price of the model, do you feel the Flux bands should illuminate? The inability to turn on a light for the Flux Bands is absolutely the biggest holdout for me.
Yes it wouldn't have cost much to throw an EL strip or something behind the flux bands. Of course that would mean external wiring that would have to be installed by the customer because the flux bands must be assembled on the car. They did this to avoid damaging them during shipping as they are fragile...
I mentioned this on someone else's video, that "speckling" looks like what you would see on recycled material. My guess is they saved a couple of bucks by using recycled materials. It does look bad tho. I'm getting mine on Wednesday and can't wait!!!!! Great video bud!
@@DeLoreanTECH head scratcher really. I just got mine two days ago and I'm absolutely in love with this thing. The videos really don't do it justice. The sheer size of it in person is surreal. No issues with the hover conversion either. So I'm really happy with this piece. Keep up the great work on your end bud.
The Car is beautiful, really, but I think, the only thing I don't like is the back of the wheels, there shouldn't be light there, so it's not like the original...Can I ask you, how much does it cost. Regards from Germany

Thank you my man! And agreed -- we need a stock DeLorean but alas I am certain it will never come from Hot Toys.

Glad you liked it!
I'm pretty sure the paint splatter is intentional based on other videos. I would reach out about the brightness of the rear wheel light. Looks dim.
It's mixed. Some have it, some don't. Sideshow's reveal video has it if you watch closely. Hot Toys reveal video DOES NOT!

That would make more sense! Perhaps I'll change mine.

My bad - I will be addressing that in the 3rd video!

Very fun vid to watch, thank you! How tall is the Delorean at its highest point on the flight stand?
Let me check

Would of been nice to add the door leds as seen on the real deal.

I don’t think the rear wheels is supposed to be dim, you should reach out to whoever you got this from.
I agree. I am going to replace the batteries and/or use the USB to power it if that will make a difference
@@DeLoreanTECH did you order your delorean from sideshow? Also when did you preorder it? I’m still waiting for mine and I’m growing very impatient

Thanks man! I have heard about that recycled material look too, but why spray it all over the undercarriage too? Maybe to match but sheesh

Yea the Mark 2 is $825 US from Sideshow. Shipping will vary by the destination but with tax and everything for me it was north of $900 US
@@DeLoreanTECH Many Thanx for the Info. That is really cheap!
