    Hi, this is a really useful video. Quick question regarding the 72 hours timeline. Is the 72 hours calculated before the JFK to Dubai or 72 hours before the Dubai to Bangalore flight?
    Thanks!

    • @AdityaParameshwara

      Hi Ananth. The 72 hours is before the JFK flight. For me it was that. Just Conform it with the airlines once if the rules has changed.

      Hey! I think about 2 hours should be safe enough. It probably depends on the time at Dubai. Early mornings should not be too busy. But if you have 2 hours, I think that should be enough to finish security check and boarding check as well.

    • @AdityaParameshwara

      Hey Nikhil! The rules at Indian airport differs from city to city. At Bangalore, if I am exiting the airport and do not have any Transition flight, I was allowed to exit after providing the sample. So I'd suggest you look up the Delhi airport website for Delhi specific rules.

    We have a flight from San Francisco, USA to Delhi and then to Ahmedabad through air India. We will be providing self declaration and negative rt pcr test results. Did you have to take the COVID test at Bangalore because you came to India from USA via Dubai (Middle East) hence India requires passengers to get COVID testing done at the Indian airport ? I suppose in my case we won’t be need a COVID test at the Delhi airport. I am a bit concerned since I have a connecting flight from Delhi to Ahmedabad where the layover is around 3 hours in Delhi

      Hello Kamala Senthil.

    • @AdityaParameshwara
      @AdityaParameshwara  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Kamala Senthil.
      I am not aware of the 14 days quarantine rule. So if the state you eventually travel has this rule, then I guess you need to abide by it.
      I think you would need the NIE as you are travelling alone. If you had any of your US citizen kids accompanying you, then I guess you would have been exempt from the ban. Since you are travelling alone, I think you need NIE approval to travel back.
      Again, this is what I think. Please confirm this with someone else.

    Thank you so much for the detailed video. I have one question, I booked my tickets with Emirates and they sent me an email with the required forms. One of the point is " All passengers must submit an undertaking form on the online portal agreeing to follow advice by the appropriate government authority to undergo home quarantine or self‑monitoring of their health for 14 days or as mandated." What form are they talking about, I only found SDF on the Air Suvidha portal.

    • @AdityaParameshwara
      @AdityaParameshwara  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Mantek. Thank you for viewing my video.
      Yes I was confused about this as well. At the end of SDF, there should have been a checkbox which says you will abide by the government rules. I thought that itself was enough.
      I did not find the undertaking form separately and no one asked me for one. So as long as you have the SDF, that should be enough in my opinion.

      @@sravanikona6794 Hi Sravani.
      Thank you for watching my video. Hope it was helpful!
      The report I got from Walgreens mentioned Rt-PCR in it. However, while booking the test, it only said PCR in their website.
      Hope this helps! :)

    Hello - Do you have any info that US citizen with India Entry Visa ( kids) are allowed in emirates flight ?

      Hi Sachin. I do not think why they are NOT allowed. Having said that, I'd suggest you to just call them and ask this. Their support team is very good and have answered all my questions on multiple occasions.

    Thank you for your video. I wanted to ask whether we need to wait for our rtpcr results to come and then go to immigration? Or we can just get ourselves tested and go to immigration without the results of rtpcr? And at what stage we get our baggage?

    • @AdityaParameshwara
      @AdityaParameshwara  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Sweta. Thank you for viewing my video.
      It depends. If you are exiting the airport, you can just exit without the result. You will get the report later.
      If you are not exiting the airport and have a connection flight, then you need to wait for the result and only then proceed.
      Baggage claim is at the last. After immigration and security check.
      Hope this helped!

    Do we need a aarogya setu app as it's confusing whether it's mandatory or not as they ask on emirates website but without indian phone number we cannot use it.

    • @AdityaParameshwara
      @AdityaParameshwara  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Kanwar. I guess at Walgreens and CVS, PCR means RT-PCR. But I think the report should state RT-PCR. You can confirm this with the airlines with which you are flying.
