He taught me how to "stalk" trophy Browns and Bows in gin clear water, how to walk softly and not create a shadow over the water if it was calm. We took a lot of very memorable trout. Sometimes I chuck and wind in a blitz but sometimes a little stealth pays off. Tight lines!

I'm not a fisherman but that cast looked and sounded amazing❤😂 And the wiggle to make like swimming was excellent - but those fish were definitely old hands, I doubt you were gonna get lucky with those old troopers treating that bait with the contempt it didn't deserve😂

Drones are awesome. They have gave us a whole new perspective, especially over water, that could only be seen from a helicopter. Now we can see fish trailing lures, we can see orca’s and wild dogs etc hunting and are able to follow the whole hunt when in the past we couldn’t really see the whole thing. And thousands of other cool things.

I prefer gold spoons, most red fish are bottom feeders, crab, shrimp, pin fish and silver or gold spoons depending on the water clarity silver for clear water and gold for murky water. That's what works for me.

Proof that a drone can be a better fishing tool than a large standing deck/tower. Together might be perfection, higher deck for casting and a drone for seeing farther ahead.
Well carps aint top predators. Sometimes they bite on a lure. But its very rare. So the carps where just cruising, and said to eachother this guy really need a better goggle😅

It's carp they're a very skittish fish. They won't hit on lures. Very rare to even foul hook them.

Cruising fish. Not actively feeding. Probably digesting maybe just browsing for crabs.

Fish running away might be a sign that he’s using the wrong lure or wrong color for that clear water
They can probably see him fishing too. Smart fish know to look for you on those sunny days.

Super clear/shallow water reds are easily spooked. Almost as spooky as bones. If you can see them, they can see you.

Put a live nightcrawler on a no.7 hook, no sinker,no float. The clearer the water the more subtle you need to be.
