How to achieve red on whip cream

For red whipped cream
Option 1. Color your cream before whipping it till firm
Option 2. Microwave your already colored cream and let it set ( I have used this but didn’t work for me)
Option 3. Use SMBC instead of whipcream

Do you let the cream sit in the fridge for the 2 hours or you just put it aside?

I just place it aside
No need to chill it
