What I absolutely adore about Minotaur is that while every other low tier skulls gets their weapons upgraded into cooler looking weapons as they progress into legendaries, Minotaur just gets himself a bigger *L O G*

I just beat dark mirror 3, and it was all thanks to this video. I found the omen where you do 110% extra damage per omen, and then found the mimic. I thought to myself, what would Beelz do? So I duped it, got some cool magic legendary from the first adventurer, and went from 75 max hp to 156 with omens, items and praying to god. Found reaper, predator and so many clutch items. The blessing of Beelz was upon me. Keep up this crazy content. I love your stuff.

Saying at the start of this, I really hope Beelz remembers the 50 enemy kill requirement to reset the item, because he was talking about missing it for the first shop and definitely would have just died if he had tried it!

Honestl,y you did a great job salvaging this! I personally don't mind the mostly effect edit less version like this. And the audio was mostly fine! The fluctuations weren't that bad. So yeah, I am sorry you had to go through so much hassle, but the end result is really good. So thank you for taking it upon you to fix it all up.
Would love to see a Rapidity Run! I can't make it work for the life of me, but I assume Samurai would be good for it to build the marks! Loved the run!
It's a little underpowered these days. It's a victim of power creep. The recent monkey video is a sort of Rapid run. The problem is that Rapidity sacrifices raw damage for speed. So your other items need to be heavy hitters to compensate. If you focus too hard on Rapidity (like 4 rapid items) you're most likely going to be too weak by the end.
I'd go as far as saying you only really need 2/4 in Rapid. And only 1-2 items at best. If you get Pain and Despair, just lock in 1 more Rapid or find a rapid item and leave it at that. I've had too many runs become VERY weak due to having more attack speed than necessary and I'm swinging around a fast noodle.

Haven't seen anyone else say it, but the second curse in the last dark room before the boss was shyness, "When there is only one enemy nearby damage deadly to that enemy is amplified by 40%" with a debuff for 2+ enemies, best final boss curse, free amp

A samurai run with as much skill damage as possible slashing through the entire world. That's something we have to see.
Minotaur decided to tear through everyone in that journey, but the one mountain it couldn't shatter was the Dark Hero! Damn, quite the peculiar yet powerful run, though I agree it was one of the more scuffed ones as of late! Quite enjoyable either way, but I didn't think such a lethal item existed! [Laughing]
I feel like Slime would've probably been needed to get through the latter half of the Dark Hero battle with a build this reckless, but the amount of damage you were dealing was still solid, even if it didn't crack the mirror!

I'm guessing leaving the treasure room didn't give you all that money and fragments because you don't 'Destroy' all those items like you do Skulls and Items. Instead you 'Pick Up', which the game probably doesn't auto do. Or the new golden bars from gold rooms probably because they're treated as items or something. Those I don't know. An unfortunate but now learned thing.

im not a samurai stan, but i would love to see an samurai that just has A LOT of crit famage multiplier and dmaage amp by curses and omen itemds or things like short hand just to see HOW MUCH damage you can get. I personally am not good enough and i couldnt pull it off until now, but i know you with your ``rigged runs :)´´ and skill could to it. also, GREAT VIDEO AS ALWAYS MY FRIEND

That was a good run and this Omen item is kinda crazy. And I didn't notice any audio problem, so you did a good job fixing it.
But I am here to explain why you didn't find the Hope Slasher. You see, the issue is hidden in the description of Unknown Darkness. It says "... there is no such thing as hope". So, obviously, there is nothing for Hope Slasher to slash. That's, clearly, intendent game design. Quite intelligently from a lore perspective actually ☝🤓

You guys are VERY important, trust me. I've done a lot more to fix YT videos than I have to fix streams. Part of that is of course, what happens live is live and I can't change any scuffed funnies. Like muted microphones or OBS being weird and me not getting games to show on the screen.
But my goal from the start was to TRY and make sure YT didn't get a lot of junk. Even the dumb memey videos like the Plastic Duck vid has to get some special attention. Otherwise what's the point? Not every vid I make will hit, but if I don't try to give them quality, then none of them will hit.

Everything ive learned from watching you play this game and also playing it a bit myself is that if you freeze an enemy mid attack. They continue the attack when they unfreeze, but if you dtun an enemy mid attack or as they go to do one attack, they will change to a different attack immediately after the stun ends.

I have to ask but have you ever played a run with the magical staff? Probably just as rarely used as the unknown darkness because to get it, you must have no items when you talk to the slime. When I was looking through items, I was also surprised to see a doubled solar sword and doubled lunar ring. The amount of work that went into some of the smallest and rarest details is just so nice to me.

I've found that gold bars/eggs/etc. and the bone jars and such don't actually break on their own. They kinda work like the chests treasure drops. So all those gold rooms with the gold bars they drop at the end, its not autobreaking those. Bit unfortunate but it is was it is
the gold bars do sell from normal rooms, beelz confirmed it
I've tested it a number of times and atleast in my experience it doesn't auto sell. Maybe something buggy on my end idk, but again atleast from what I've seen they don't auto sell. I may need to redownload or something

No matter how I tried building around it, the 2 omen penalty is insane!
It's pretty rough... Seems you either need to overcompensate with defenses like Coward, Mirage and Pauldrons or just commit to the bit and build this on King + Orc and PRAY you kill them first.
@@Beelz55 Feels like glass cannon is very hard to build in Level 10... Even the level 10 speedrun world record right now went safe with more HP instead of more damage...
My best way of dealing with those challenges so far has been invincibility Galore with my boy Reaper, and bone shield + Mercury Hearts (underrated in this kind of run, IMO). Won me a 3-omen run, but only because it was all rigged 😛
@@MrBacanudo Yeah glass cannon is tough. I feel like it'll take a little while until true glass cannon all-in builds can be done. It's just not worth the risk.

I mean that joan fight dooms day did 8000 true damage haha. I guess it's only good for fights which is understandable kinda. It has brawl though which the only good items I find for with it is gunpowder and maybe shade and probably warrior's pauldrons (isn't brawl supposedly helping you clear the rooms faster with the shockwave?)
Hey Beelz so is there any particular reason why you’ll buy hearts but not quintessence’s to absorb when you’re pumping Hp or just in general? Do you just not find it worthwhile after the devs nerfed their health increase?
More or less the latter reason. Currently I think gold is better spent on locking in Inscriptions, buying new items, food and even rerolling the special items section for Hearts/Drugs/Skulls. You need a Legendary quint to get 15 hp. To put that in perspective, breaking a Legendary skull gives you just BARELY (literally 1 fragment) shy of 45 hp when upgrading Arachnes pillars. If I break a Unique skull I know I get enough Fragments for 1 upgrade and have at least 7 left over in change. A unique Quint won't get me as much health, adn I don't get to keep the change. It's also expensive to buy quints in the shop.
It's something I'd do at the very end of my build when I have gold left over and nothing else I want. During the beta testing, breaking quints was extremely worthwhile. But now it isn't as great. I think it's ok, as quints still give SOMETHING. I just don't think it's something I need to rush to do when there's so many other good choices there. (Or bad ones, knowing me).

From normal chests they do auto sell. It only happened in the puzzle chest room likely because there is a different prompt for the items you get from the chests to pick them up. In all the other normal rooms in the game and even the shop, if you leave skulls, items, gold etc and move onto the next room, it will auto sell.

Beelz, you should download the mod pack that the one dude made for the dark mirror. I downloaded it myself and it’s amazing being able to start with whatever skull you want, since the legendaries and uniques are so much harder to find early now!
For finding legendaries and uniques earlier it's nice. I wouldn't want to use it in order to just grab items and multiple easy starts though. Having the option of breaking legendary skulls right away for a massive bone lead feels weird lol.

I'm getting curious as to whether we'll see a hard 10 run where Dark Hero's HP melts without using a glass cannon build such as the Hunter run.
You can destroy him using more defensive builds, but you need skulls who already perform well like Werewolf & Skul etc. Glass cannon is EXTREMELY difficult and dangerous in this update. So builds like the old King runs are actually more punishing than they're worth. The game is demanding more respect from you and is basically slapping you and saying ''Did you forget about defense? Oops I guess''

This is a good display of how dumb the final boss' HP is.
A build built for DPS at the cost of everything, and it still only gets him down to half.
Attacks that are, in many cases, impossible to dodge.
I've cleared stage 9, and I still call the final form BS simply due to his unforgeable screen slash, health steal, and insane HP on his final form. You can't afford to take defensive items because you WILL lose in a prolonged fight with him, and just being a power skull is an extreme disadvantage due to the size and tackle.
I love this game, but I also hate it a little. It has some unfair aspects and attacks disguised as challenge.

well his build isnt really for dps, more for one-shotting opponents.
although yeah dm10 second phase(according to beelz) has a mild 150k hp, which is just wrong
pretty sure southpaw just wanted to give the good players who steamroll normal mode an actual challenge, so dark hero isnt really for most players.

I recently had a run with samurai act 1 and got absolutely busted stuff, then in act 4 got champ and watched the hero get virtually 2 shot by samurai moon and champ super

I wish sin would show up a little earlier in the run, it's a lot of time wasted if you plan a run for sin, go all the way to act 3 and then it doesn't even show up

Imo, at the end you could have taken shyness by replacing finger flicking which can help alleviate the hero fight by alot.
It may have saved the entire fight. I can't believe the game gave me flick at the start, on a Mino run, but then refused to give me good stun items... Hate to see it... Oh well.
