Yknow, I've struggled with factorisation since y7 and I'm now in y9, about to take my end of year exams. It's weird how this amazing youtube channel can explain this better in 8 minutes than my school can in 3 years. Thanks for the rlly helpful videos man.
One of my favorite channels since starting igcse. idk how to thank you. my grades are so high in science all thanks to your videos :) please keep it up
Just ile before when you try to get what multiplies with 4x to get 8xsquared, you look fr what multiplies with 4x to make 12x . So 4x times 3 is 12x. And that's where you get the positive 3
He used a really complicated method finding the highest common factors, just find the highest number they share in times tables, so write down 1x(number) 2x(number) 3x(number) going on both numbers until you hit a number, or if you have a times tables sheet just check the highest number they share on there
Thank you so much i was confused when learning this as i didint know wich letter to keep so when you kept the b i was complexed why you didn't keep the a instead until later you kept the x in 5x that made me realise all the units have x and in the other equation both numbers have b thank you a lot for the help you and your team included❤❤❤
A few months ago i saw cognito on like 450k subscribers. Now he is on 678k. lets try and make this amazing channel reach 1million subscribers. We need 322K more subscribers to reach million
im so stuck someone help me, 14t+8. the HCF is 2 so 2t( ...) How do you get 2t to 14 t, you would multiply it by 2, but the answer is always 2t(7T!!!! HOW IS THE T THERE
Idk if you still need help but 14t+8, you find the HCF, so 2 like you said. But because the t is not in both terms, it just stays as 2. You add the t in the brackets. So it would be 2(7t+4) Because 2×7t is 14t, then 2×4 is 8, which brings you back to the original 14t+8.
Actually the smartest job they could do is TH-cam. The money from ad revenue alone can reach $1000-10,000 per video depending on the views. Not to mention it's easier to do then an actual job and more rewarding after reaching monetization which is when you start earning money. In short, by TH-cam you can be at least financially stable if not anything else.

My question: 2x^2-x
Answer:
HCF of 2 and 1 = 1 (because they're both prime numbers)
HCF of x x x + 1 x x = x
x(2x-1)

Thanks it was very helpful to my son in year 7.
Thank you ! I’m revisiting all the maths topics I’ve covered so far in year 9 so I can be attentive in year 10.
Why positive 3? I have no idea where the plus comes from. please explain.
Just ile before when you try to get what multiplies with 4x to get 8xsquared, you look fr what multiplies with 4x to make 12x . So 4x times 3 is 12x. And that's where you get the positive 3
@@haliali2143it gives 3 but why is it positive? That’s what we’re confused about
because its 4 divide + 12 so you do 4 divide by 12 which is 3 then add the + and that's where you get +3
THANK YOU SO MUCH

You can use any working method (or a method you've been taught) to find the HCF.

How did you get +3 it does not make sense
Because if we multiply plus 3 and 4x we get plus 12x 😊
