Hi Jerry.. I have the 1988 35th Anniversary Triple White Edition. I am the 2nd owner.. 62 K miles.. the car is mint all original. I show it during the summer and it does well. Anyway the blend door is the only issue I have.. you have shine some light on the subject.. my issue is AC won’t blow cold.. compressor was changed which was bad and it worked fine for awhile. I had a mechanic rig the door so the ac would work but I guess the door has repositioned itself again.. but thank you for putting that video on.. I had the code issue thing with mine.. MAF sensor etc.. I subscribed to your channel.. thanks again
Hey jerr! I watched your video on the starter relay bypass and I learned a lot from it but it’s not my issue, I was wondering if you could go a little deeper down the rabbit hole and show me how to bypass or test the auto trans switch. When I turn the key the starter relay clicks but nothing else happens besides that.
@@JerrSpudyes sir! I have tested the starter and I’ve also replaced the starter and the battery, it’s an 89. I can jump the starter by touching the two connections together and the motor spins over, but when I turn the key, just the starter relay clicks. And I tried jumping the starter relay the way you did, still nothing. I’m lost. Im 19 and a learning mechanic, but obviously still missing something lol. I’ve tried everything I can think of besides replacing relays and fuses, but everything looks fine so I’m lost as to where to start with that. If you have any suggestions I would really really appreciate it.
@@kdog0329 that's weird. It shouldn't be clicking outside.. are you sure you're just not hearing the enable relay inside the dash? If it's clicking and it works just fine..it may not be getting the full 12v to it? Id start jumping each section at a time and see where the problem is. Get a really long run of wire that can run from the dash to the starter. Start at the key and test that first... it could have a bad switch in it. key output to starter, then test it at the trans switch output and lastly the enable relay output. that should tell you if is bad wiring somewhere or a bad switch somewhere.
Yes, my great problem was , when the technicians tried to unplugged the socket, this brocked!!!!and the cables inside lost the original position, is posible that you send me a picture or a draw with this????

have your tested the starter yet? I'm guessing you can bypass the trans switch under the dash. I don't know where that's?
