The final Austin Powers!! This movie had some of the best cameos I have ever witnessed on film along with some amazing funny and self aware moments! I had a lot of fun with this film and SO much fun with the franchise as a whole! Thanks for watching everyone and I hope you had as much fun watching these videos as I did making them!!! :)

2002: Doctor Evil turns out to be Austin Powers' long lost brother
2015: Blofeld turns out to be James Bonds' long lost brother

Yeah, I think Spectre stole the brothers idea from Austin Powers.

    "Your spy car's a Mini?"
"It's not the size mate, it's how you use it."
Fun Fact: Michael York and Sir Michael Caine, veteran English actors with over one hundred movies each to his credit, had never worked on a movie together before this one.
Gun Enthusiast Fact: During the opening credits for Austinpussy, Danny DeVito (as Mini-Me) is seen firing an M-249 light machine gun, or as it is known in Europe, the FN MINIMI.
Mission Accomplished Fact: The items on Austin Powers' briefly-glimpsed "Things To Do Before I Die" list are, in order: Become International Man of Mystery; Save World from Certain Doom; Find True Love; Go to Outer Space; Travel Through Time, Backward and Forward; Be Cryogenically Frozen; Catch Dr. Evil in the First Act; Threesome with Japanese Twins; Win Daddy's Respect.

love the Austin Powers franchise as a whole, but this one is easily my favorite of them. Maybe it's nostalgia because it's the one I remember watching so much more. But this entire movie just has me dying laughing

Burt Bacharach (the singer guy) is not just from this movie. He's a legendary songwriter, who has won 3 Oscars and 6 Grammys, and had 73 different songs hitting the Top 40 in the US. So, yeah...he is a HUGE musical legend.

Thanks, Ollie! 🥇 This one was my favorite of the trilogy. Another one with Mike Myers you might enjoy is SO I MARRIED AN AXE MURDERER (1993).

You do recognize Beyoncé . Knowles is her maiden name. Beyoncé plays Foxy Cleopatra.
This was her first film. She is a singer and also an actress. She married Jay-z. Her married name is Beyoncé Knowles- Carter. Beyoncé and Jay-z have three children. They’re still happily married and very much in love.
The third Austin Powers is the best one next to the originals. I saw this one in 2002 , in a packed movie theater with my friends. There were no empty seats to be found. It was a great time.👏👏👏👏❤❤❤

Burt Bacharach's song writing, with his writing partner Hal David, has created some of the most famous songs of the 50's, 60's and 70's.

This is my favourite of the trilogy. I think possibly because of the addition of Michael Caine. He can do comedy so well and he is mostly sending up his own image from his 1960's movies. The mini he's driving around in is a reference to the original The Italian Job from 1969 in which Michael Caine starred.
So much of this movie turns up in the last two Daniel Craig James Bond films. Bond and Blofeld being brothers. The meeting in prison between Austin Powers and Dr Evil / Bond and Blofeld and there being a secondary villain Goldmember / Safin. I can't watch either SPECTRE or No Time to Die without thinking of Goldmember.

    • @VelkanAngels
      @VelkanAngels ปีที่แล้ว

Except a lot of the "jive" was just made up by the two actors to create the illusion of matching the subtitles, while really just being nonsense, while this was actual British uh... "slang", if you can call it that. Except the "shat on a turtle" part (I assume, lol) and I doubt currently-living person from any part of Britain actually use any of those terms or phrases unironically anymore xP. I remember learning in school that "apples and pears" meant "stairs", "my ol' china" meant "my mate/buddy", "rub-a-dub-dub" meant "pub" etc.

When he says 'I thank you" at the end of a corny joke he is imitating an old English variety comedian called Arthur Askey. He was exposed to British TV programmes from the 50s and 60s.

IRL Tom Cruise is prolly 5'6 but Gwyneth Paltrow had to go barefoot in Iron Man 3 'cuz Robert Downey Jr is the same height as Tom Cruise. So she must be reaching 6'
it's cute. also Gwyneth Paltrow is an idiot IRL but she's cute so like all men, I forgive her.

I am sad you watched these back to back as that was a wrong move because it is very same-y. This one is way better than the second one, the second one was poorly coordinated with the plot and relies heavily on Star Wars parody and suffers because the better parody for Star Wars is Spaceballs. This one got back on track with the James Bond roots and was way more creative with the same-y Mike Myers jokes.
