*5 mana deal 22 damage to all minions, that's pretty good, but my opponent might play Emeriss and Deathwing, that's 24 health, might want to wait 2 more turns. I only take 17 fatigue and 10 from the minions I won't AoE, that's fine, I get 2 damage value on my spell!*
I get you do not want a game breaking ring but ring is what made hearthstone fun and they were really lacking that last year to the point where I quit playing.

The Witchy lackey and Faceless lackey seem to have their card text switched. Summoning things is a witchwood, witch thing. Transforming minions is Old Gods thing.
Faceless minions have random effects, like the faceless 6 mana mage card that summons a random 3 drop. Witches are linked to chaman, which "evolves" minions. The card texts aren't switched.
i can definitely see chief nomi creating a whole rogue archetype deck, where you use unstable element to empty your deck and use various copy generation (shadowstep,lab recruiter) to keep a constant flow of +6 6/6 on the board
Nomi doesn't feel like a build around, since most decks that will let you go to fatigue will also have board clears to wipe it, it seems like what hakkar was supposed to be, a high power card to help vs control.
Just noticed... Spellward Jeweler saves you from Malygos OTKs... Also, as lackeys will probably be accessible for many classes (not just Rogue), i predict many scenes when Faceless Lackey will give Doomsayer to people with advantage (RNG boys)

Those lackey cards are going to be awesome in rogue. First, 1 mana cards that are generated by playing other cards always have value as combo enablers (See flame elemental). Secondly, these 1 mana 1/1 minions have pretty great effects that could work really well with spirit of the shark.

I predict this expansion will have a monster hunt esque solo adventure( playing as each of the four villians, having tha final boss be a nemesis related to lore e.g Hagatha's nemesis will be Genn Greymane , have a final boss where all four heroes unite to defeat the boss).
Everyone is suggesting the whole Chef Nomi rogue thing with myra's unstable element.. but to me, I think it would just be really good in warrior, warlock, or mage for when you are playing to fatigue. Eventually, you both run out of cards, and this just gives you one final thing that they can't deal with at the end. Also most board clears can't deal with it. Hagatha's scheme, nether portal, Brawl, Mass Hysteria and vanish are the only ones I can think of that actually work. Lightning storm, hellfire, flamestrike, blizzard, defile, consecrate, holy nova, explosive trap, fan of knives, whirlwind, warpath, and Starfall, are all pretty useless against it. Psychic Scream, Dragon's Fury, Spreading Plague and reckless flurry are all rotating out soon. The preview of it does show it's inherent weakness though.. none of them have taunt, so you could just die after casting it.... which I'm sure will happen a lot. It'll also fill up your hand for the whole game like Mechathun without actually guaranteeing victory, so that's a thing. I do think it's better than Dragoncaller Alanna in nearly every way except the requirement to have no cards. But you usually don't cast her till then anyway.. so it's a moot point. You can also put him in a non-big spell mage deck or in any class.

After drawing a few corrupted blood, your deck count will exceed theirs and you can turn them all into legendaries, while their deck is still corrupted (e.g. 3 corrupted draws = 6 new cards for 9 damage; in fatigue, 6 draws = 21 damage, so you actually gain 12 life and 6 random legendary minions if you let the game stall to fatigue).
Rogue: Preparation -> Myra's Unstable Element -> Chef Nomi -> NEXT TURN -> Academic Espionage If the opponent can deal with the Greasefire elementals you're sort of screwed but I think this could be a fun meme deck.
incredibly strong late game cards, that's what was needed in order to push control decks i like it, because from the start, 6+ cost cards shold have been way better....

Turn 9 Prep + Myra’s Unstable Element + Chef Nomi = Full hand + 42/42 board It's such an "all-in" move, but without a proper boardclear in hand for the opponent, it can be game over. And if you want to be safer, shadow step will make it so that the opponent will need 2 boardclears to win The combo requires 3 cards in hand, or 2 if you know for certain that Myra will draw the Chef. It's not a great combo, but it looks fun enough to give it a go :)
Chef nomi, Academic Espionage, And that spell that draws your deck could be meta. You draw both academic espionage then draw your deck, turn seven play chef nomi and then the next few turns play both the espionage's for ultimate value
You need to make a Hakkar, the soulflayer + Arch-Villain Raffam control warlock meme deck. Every 3 damage corrupted blood holds off fatigue by 2 turns, ironically letting you wait until the late game and then turning your remaining cards, including the bloods, into larger resources.

Edit: another possibility is just not running Baku and play some aggro shenanigans and the combo will be (coin - if u have), preparation, myra's, nomi on turn 8 or 9

They're leaning more into effects that wouldn't be possible in paper card games which is cool

Oh damn that spellward jeweler is interesting, thats very close to a neutral ice block.... risky card to print for blizzard.
It's not even close, most of the times Ice Block saves you it's from minions. Spells or Hero Powers causing lethal is a far more niche scenario.
