I'm so excited for this update! My niece and I just finished watching the Golden Cheese Kingdom storyline (she's a little too young/impatient to play the game, but she loves watching the cutscenes and following the story) and it's going to be so awesome to revisit that kingdom and its great characters. I think they were trying to reduce the visual effects bc a lot of people complained about Mystic Flour lagging their screen. Theres just no winning for them lol (unless they finally introduce a toggle visual effects option)

Do believe so, as the witches took the uncorrupted soul jam from the beasts and purified it to become the heroes' soul jam. Think of it like this: the beasts have the negative side, whilst the ancients have the positive side.

Here is an example for shadow milk and pure vanilla: The Original Soul Jam was called: Knowledge, it split into two parts a negative and a positive (deceit, and truth) I have a theory that the ancients don’t have the other half of the beast soul jam, otherwise the ancients wouldn’t be as strong with just a half, I think the beast say they have a “half” of the original soul jam but they actually don’t, they just don’t want anyone to have soul jams just them.
my theory is that there isn’t half of anything, I think its two separate soul jams one pos one neg but they are linked somehow, the beast say “half” because probably the pos soul jams were created from the neg, which is the original soul jam but corrupted
