I went to Memphis with Todd Snider last month and filmed a bunch of stuff. This is from a larger project that we're working on that I'll make public sometime soon. Todd played a secret show for some hardcore fans and this is from that. He did 3 sets sets (zero rehearsals) with Keith Sykes and some other old friends. It's rough around the edges and fun. This was filmed by me and my buddy Todd Fox. please feel free to share this with your friends.

I have a pal, it's been for 45 years now, and back in the day whenever we were at a bar with solo acoustic music he would shout out, "Angel from Montgomery!" I did not yet know the song, but heard it a while later via Bonnie Raitt. We saw a Bonnie show and of course, Ted yelled out his predictable request. And also of course, she played it as an encore. I subsequently learned the tune and have performed it 100 times in the last 13 years or so, each time for Ted. John Prine was such a treasure.
That was a most excellent rendition of that great song. They were so together. 👍👍👌👌👍👍👌👌👌👍👍
