I caught a 6.5 24" LM by accident last week while catfishing lol 😂 tho dudes hit like a mac truck when they get that big I couldn't imagine a 10lber. Beautiful catch
They really do hit like a truck. My PB is only 4lb 12oz but I hooked one around 6-7 recently that jumped and shook a swim jig… it’s still painful but my therapist said I need to talk about it
First hookset in the video was a tight line hookset. Watching it in slow motion the rod tip was bent over even at the bottom of his swing bc how fast he was reeling in the slack or the fish running. Remember to stick with the tight line hookset for jigs folks!

I guess I should drive to Lake Fork before I die, lol. It is only about three hours from my house. My PB is about 6-8…I have caught at least six bass over six pounds, never broke seven, lol. Lost four or five real big ones over the years.
