    Thank you reverend Michael for this conversation, I am a legal certified cannabis practitioner, with over 25 years, and the general public needs to be properly educated and informed on the use, history and medical benefits of the cannabis and hemp plants, which are healing herbs.

    Great answer. Some people don’t develop a dependency to weed. I am not one of those people! I smoked for 9 years (recently quit). The first few years of using, Mary Jane truly enhanced my life. The last few years, I fought with her constantly. She definitely cut off my spiritual circulation and kept me from my practice. Now that I have surrendered, the clarity you speak of is peeking through. Blessings to my fellow recovering and recovered addicts. We were born to experience an even more natural high.

    ❤ Addiction is definitely one thing. Once or twice a year I engage with cannabis, this is when I need to break a deep depression. It helps a lot.
    Could be once a year or once every two years and at other times, once a month.
    I’m addicted to presence, tho sugar can take me on journeys.
    Thanks for your advice; choose meditation 🧘‍♂️

    Very informative! After 10 years of use, I was forced to give up adderal ( an amphetamine). Ironically, I didn’t know there would be withdrawals. I spent over a month feeling groggy, grouchy,and unable to a task for more than 10 minutes without laying down.
    I realized adderal upreg-ed my mood and helped me wake up and focus.
    I have effectively been using dance/music and affirmations in the morning to get even better results. The dance gets my energy and mood up. The affirmations gets me more motivated and focused. An example is: I am vibrantly energized, focused, and disciplined. I use my time wisely, accomplishing both tasks & goals.
    To those who suffer from addiction and also withdrawal-Listen & act on your divine guidance.

    I’ve found cannibis to be a wise teacher that helped me find my spiritual path. I could see where some could take it without intention though and become addicted.

    I absolutely loved this answer. There are practices that can transform your dimension, no substance needed. The daily practice of meditation provides the ease and comfort in a similar way to marijuana. Its only that nowadays, they put additives in the weed that are harmful to the cardiovascular system. Meditation is safer.

      Yes! I believe that too. I've been a cannabis user for years but just within the last couple years I've noticed that the type of high feels different than back in the day. I can't exactly describe it but it feels different. And my ocd amps up after I partake too so I'm only doing it once every week or 2 but I'm also getting convicted on even that less of usage by my body because it doesn't like it anymore

    Once you start to heal yourself and get to a certain point in your concousness its just seems like its dragging you down. I used to be a heavy user recently tried a edible its did zero for me other then make me feel like shit. Id much rather be sober if your doing it to escape your reality it only works for so long.

      I couldn't agree more. I have not been smoking much (maybe a couple of times over a 6 months period, and it was 10 years ago) but I have a hard time with addictive behaviour regarding various other activities, and often activities that are otherwise valued and valuable : work, reading, playing music even... just switching from one to the other.
      Under the addiction, I always find suffering.
      Rev. Michael's teachings have helped a lot I think.

      All due, I know so many who have said this, but the behavior says different.
      Still, some people-- those who smoke extremely infrequently, especially only socially, and not for many years-- do show how to smoke without addiction. How long do you between "partaking" (including any eddies, tinctures, oils, etc.)?

      I think he’s speaking on dependency on anything outside of ourselves. That can include Ayahuasca. Use it for what u want it to show you, bring you to. Then learn to let it go.

    • @TonyBrown3

      If true, very interesting. How is using ayahuasca better than consuming weed?🤔

    • @nicolemcfarland3943
      @nicolemcfarland3943 8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I think Ayahuasca is different. That's a more isolated experience. Michael Beckwith said with his Jack Canfield interview that he is more for meditation than Ayahuasca though he saw the results that people have with Ayahuasca. That could be likened to years of therapy. It seems they have specialized practitioners with the Ayahuasca.@@TonyBrown3

      He’s talking about people who use weed every day for years. Those who need it to cope with daily life, morning, noon and night. Aya is usually done at a retreat for maybe a few days for catharsis/ detox and then it’s stopped.

    • @nyat5413
      @nyat5413 6 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@biancamichelle11 some people actually become dependent on Aya as well. People don’t always know how to return to “normal life” in society after experiencing Aya. They return to retreats often to seek that same experience they had. With that being said, retreats are a pretty penny so it’s harder to abuse Aya since it’s mostly done at retreats. Weed on the other hand is easily accessible making it easier to abuse

      people like this are probably addicted to various foods that can lead to physical issues. Things like bread, pasta and rice lead to diabetes. Those are the addictions he should be mentioning. Weed is anti-inflammatory and healing. Don't be an addict to empty carbs or from buying food that comes in a box.
