- Morley is not a popular weapon in Armored Core 6, but that doesn't mean it isn't a good weapon! Pairing them with Stun Guns can really make quick work of opponents at close range!

def should send you my rank climbing build, it's almost the same core parts. different arms, but uses lance, jav zook, dual high act, and the new gatling. it used to use morley, but the new gatling works much better, it's a pretty fun general purpose with multiple engagement options to deal with as many threats as i could think of, instead of only min/maxing one specific theng

Definitely! Getting IG on buckler negates even the heftiest charged shots.

Hi Crightt, just an idea for you, usually AC6 youtuber always have "how to use this weapon", seems rarely even no one have something like "how to defense against this weapon" or " how to dodge this weapon" where in high ranking pvp you can always meet the build with certain top 10 same weapons and sometimes even player dont know how to dodge certain weapon.

17:23 this right here - AB back when terminal armor procs, casually find some cover to finish the guy - requires a lot more cool headedness than the average person has. My heart rate spiked a little everytime you did it in those 2 fights. 😅

I have build using double morleys and a chainsaw with Chang Chen. I basically just charge my chainsaw the entire time, and when I get close I release

the purge tactic is very real, I do the same thing with plasma cannon back units. It’s possible to specifically set your AC up to hit different speed breakpoints by weight specifically with purges. It makes the missile kite match up fair more favorable for CQC builds.

I still find it funny how the Morleys used to be heavier in both weight and EN cost than the Earshot, to the point where I was genuinely surprised that 617 (the Walter's Hound with the minigun from the cinematic trailer) and V.I Freud managed to fit this on their assembly.

You really should make a breakdown video on all the kinetic and non-missile explosive hand weapons in the game; they're just as diverse in weapon selection as the missiles, so it's really hard to tell which is useful where, or if one is even useful at all.
STole this build, changed the helm, and have been on an absolute terror reign in my climb to A rank.

You don’t need to Initial Guard to prevent electric buildup, just holding the shield stops it completely
Hello, to clear up some misunderstanding here. I'm talking about "initial stun gun attack" as in the bullet and not initial guard for shield. I should've just said stun gun attack (but shielding after already hit still applies electrify on you). As you can see from the footage, I got shot not during initial guard and there was still no buildup!
i wonder if the last guy with the buckler could have won by just holding up the guard for the entire match to counter shock buildup, and then briefly releasing shield and resetting the IG against morely hits. Maybe im missing something, haven't done ac6 pvp in a while

It was recently discovered that setting your FPS to 120 will greatly improve your hit chance with weapons. If you're finding that obvious hits aren't registering, try to set your FPS to max as it directly helps hit registration by a massive amount, especially for rifles, machine guns, pistols, etc

I was doing a bunch of Morley builds last night lol. Always loved this weapon, long before the chainsaw builds.
I actually have a suggestion: a build around the Karasawa. I’m tinkering a lot with it and I find myself struggling with it because of its enormous Energy Load.
This is somewhat similar to an old build by Myndrr that I used a lot, which had earwigs instead of Morleys on a lighter frame. Thanks as always for the builds, I'm gonna go give it a try!

I might be the only one with this opinion, but I despise the stun guns. I think they're a little overpowered. they cancel a lot of actions with the stun and just melt you're HP if you're a close quarters build without a shield

I've used a slightly different version of this with a Morley and a sword yesterday and blasted through B rank. stun gun proc -> morley stagger -> pulse blade punish.

haha gg. I do wish they nerfed Basho arms and buffed melee so that different melees can be good in different ways though. Would make mixing melees much stronger.
IMO, even with their huge dip in firearm specialization and tracking they’re still decent for mid-range firearms as long as you use an FCS that supports it well. While you wouldn’t have the precision necessary to make long range shots easy, they’re still doable for mid range, which means the BASHO arms essentially are low weight/EN load arms with a lot of AP that almost any build can run.
If I were to nerf BASHO, I’d increase the weight and decrease the melee specialization, then buff other arms melee specializations so that while BASHO still is the king of melee it doesn’t have a huge an increase as it does now. Of course that might kill BVO builds, but this is also assuming From Software doesn’t nerf the Vientos as well (which they likely will do considering how much better they are overall than the other handguns).
really appreciate your build ideas and breakdown. ive been trying to make my own builds under the criteria of not using obviously broken stuff like zimms, but nothing has stood out to me as a particularly impactful setup. i cant really tell if it's conflicting weapon choices or something to do with my parts. making builds that feel fun but also strong is hard
The plasma and lrb laser swap is somethign to be more mindful of.
It builds up consistent stagger at the very least.

I think this is a build I will enjoy. I would suggest runnning Assault Armor insted given how close to the enemy you need to be.
I was using similar build, but with earshots. Due them can stagger tanks from long range, eveh if your fcs not suited for it. But long reload time, and that stun guns don't allow you to stagger fast, you can't stagger punish enemy
Please do a PvP movement tutorial! Watching your PvP matches its obvious that good movement avoids a ton of damage and keeps you in the fight.
personally I'd put a Buerzel on there instead of the NGI-the AB would be _really_ nice for chasing down those little kite builds that it'd struggle with, especially if you decide to purge one or both Morleys.
Morleys are very good for mixing in combos. Stagger, melee attack, assault armor, & then morleys.

Thanks for making these videos and for including the breakdowns. I was wondering if you have any advice about the drone weapons. Specifically the drone weapon that deploys the individual turrets in trying to make a build that uses them but I'm having mixed results. Seems they don't have good tracking and I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to improve that or if they just need a buff
Try only running 1x laser turret. For your other weapons you will want 2 missiles that can poke at long range to put enough pressure to make people enter yours. Final weapon is a flex slot but I suggest having enough impact damage to stagger so the turrets can actually punish.

I use the Morley rockets with dual Zimmermans, the AB maxed boosters in a tetra build. Whenever i get them in a kick i combo with fire everything off. Instant stun then feed into the next kick. I’ve never lost a close combat fight. Downsides is that It does require finesse to catch the faster builds, and dodge set ups, but it’s an absolute powerhouse. Also cuts through any PVE boss like you’re cheating.
For Elden Ring a long while back you did weapon range data, and I want to confirm is the great mace and great stars are in their correct order. Great mace you say has more range but it’s in game model length seems to be shorter than the great stars. In addition where can one find day an excel sheet of weapon ranges if I want to know if Rotten great axe (colossal) is longer than say an Executioner Greataxe?
This looks exactly like my old Akimbo zimmy akimbo morley MW/HW AC, the stun guns is something I didn't consider, gotta try it to upgrade it
I love the buckler and I want it to work, but it’s heat buildup combined with the tiny IG window with lag involved makes it not worth the risk. I hope in the update they make its heat buildup comparable to the one everyone uses, it’s short window still would require a high skill level but would open it up as another option.
I feel like this build would benefit from replacing one of the Morleys with a dual cell 8 way split missile, it'll REALLY help keeping up the pressure at mid-range.
Hello Chrightt, thank you for the build. It's really interesting to see such dynamic between these two weapons. How do you think it'll do if I only purge 1 Morley? Do you think it'll help stagger fast kiting players better rather than only stun guns remain?
Having only one Morley is kind of awkward because you're not going much faster and it takes the same amount of time in a firing stance. I've tried it and dislike it.
Please give me more pvp videos and if you are putting that much work into the great commentary, I am getting better and would be happy to watch more ads for the vid

Hey Chrightt, I know it’s not related to this video but I wanted to ask you, in your opinion, what would be the best weapon to use 1 handed that is good for both pve and pvp? I know the katanas (especially nagakiba) are great but I’d like something else. Thank you if you could help!
I think Halberds are pretty good if you just want to hold 1x of a weapon (both two-handed and one-handed)!

Lammy popularity is dropping in general. People at high rank know how to deal with the builds and they aren’t versatile (mainly just missiles and HMMR with one in a blue moon using a long ranged rifle), meaning even the double Zim/Shield builds can harass them and wait until the lammy runs out of EN. Once they’re vulnerable, any burst build will rip them a new one.

Stun guns are pure cancer along with so many other things in this game. Lasers, earshots, missiles you name it. Meanwhile rifles and machine guns are pathetic. The whole damage and stagger system needs an overhaul for the next game in the franchise. This game is Modern Warfare 2 levels of unbalanced and broken
