This is why I want this set so I can modify the ship to a seatruck and I thought I’d make a prawn suit dock in the back of the ship for the construction mech
I feel like this set should have come with one extra pod. That way you can change around your set a little more and when you get different sets from the theme you have the option to add a pod to them.
The interstellar design is very common in concepts, since if you want gravity you require centripetal force, meaning all concepts will usually resemble each other in shape.
Absolutely awesome, I was hyped to see a review for this set (and the space base 😉) and it really does not disappoint. Can't wait to get my hands on it! God bless 🙂
That theme is like dream for me, not only space, looks awesome but also they can work together thanks to those connection doors, cells etc. And most fun for me is i have something to collect. Im hoping they will expand this with something like bad guys company comming later (aka new blacktron), then our current spacemans could hire defenders for them (aka space police) but bad guys would win so our spacemans will fly to another planet (ice planet) and there already new faction would live (aka classic ice planet) and we have a conflict with them but bad guys will follow us so we will need to join forces with ice people to finally won with bad guys ;)

There is a central docking point in the centre of the ring. Isn't it? If you dock the cockpit module or the shuttle from the ground base set there you will indeed get an interstellar type space ship.
Maybe this is the way they travel to the planet with those aliens and crystals. At their destination the shuttle brings the pods to the surface where they are used as a base camp for planatery exploration.
@frankdudenhausen2697 maybe they found the purple crystals and discovered they have applications for faster than light travel and used them on smaller spacecraft. This explains the name of the Interstellar Space Ship (the 6+ set with a ship, figure and jetpack), a tiny aircraft that shouldn't have that range.
@@SOR-05 Same. I also like how the military space themes connect: Alien Conquest is about a small defense force designed to hold off invasions before the Galaxy Squad soldiers arrive. Also i love how some mars mission designs are clearly refitted for combat: the small rover has only a missile for defense, the huge drill mech has a small AA gun attached (which might have been an anti meteor laser judging by the placement), the huge mining rover has a temporary gun. I love designs that tell more about the setting.

When all the pieces come together they resemble the Seatruck from Subnautica and for that reason, I MUST have this set.

You can also attach pieces to the MIDDLE of the ring as well, I missed that while building. ANOTHER awesome function for this set!
In the next review can you show the tug spacecraft in the centre like the rangers on the endurance? I’d love to see that!

I couldn’t agree more. It feels like a classic LEGO theme. I’m nervous this is it, no other waves. Hope I’m wrong
