No one can top mine and i aint proud of it : The most evil thing i have ever done in a video game is when in skyrim there is guy named erik and his dream was to became an adventurer i hired him and immediatly sacrificed him to boethia . Later i learned that he was modeled after a real life person who died before skyrim released.
With the exception that if you do go the Morinth route she seduces you and kills you = end of galaxy. You murdered a galaxy to have sex with somebody who kills her lovers.
Assuming Wrex even makes it to Mass Effect 3 in the first place, sure. If you don't do his loyalty mission in Mass Effect 1 before a certain plot mission (the one where you are guaranteed to lose a party member and have to choose which one) he'll turn on you and get killed by the rest of your crew in a cut scene. So the most evil thing to do is let him die to save his people in 1, then sabotage it anyway in 3.
I did this whole plot with Wrex, and I did it for real, not as part of an evil playthrough. To this day, I still don't know if I made the right call. I definitely stopped an inevitable future interstellar war, but shooting Mordin was... he should have listened, man. He should have known I would do it. Javik approved of my choices, and that has gotta be a bad sign.
Wait how did she react. I didn't know you could do that. I don't wanna do that. Outer worlds has a way of making me feel bad about everything. I am not all the way through cuz i have to stop sometimes cuz i like playing it but it makes me feel bad sometime.
I am surprised not to see any Fable mentions. Fable was one of the first rpg’s I played where being evil was an option. You even grew horns if you went all out evil. I hope to see a refrence to it in your part 2 video. Killing your sister after fighting side by side sounds like it fits in this list.
Dragon age has some of the worst ones, especially in the origins. You can literally nuke the whole mages circle, just to stop one demon, and killing thousands of mages. It’s a bit worse if you know them from your own mage origin story. If you go through with the redcliff quests and get to the castle, you get asked to fetch Andraste’s sacred ashes to save his life. Or you can poison them, killing him instead. It’s worse in my eyes as she is the wife of the Maker (god) of the world and is considered the holy light of the religion.

What about Fable: The Lost Chapters? You can literally marry someone, force them to follow you then sacrifice them to the Temple of Skorm. You can also choose to slaughter entire towns, simply because you can. The game will actually give you Hellboy horns after a certain time, which cause every single person you come into contact with to flee in terror from you.
Borderlands 2, a side mission called Clan War: Wakey Wakey. You literally restart an old clan war by playing both sides against each other which escalates to one side hiring you to shoot up a wake. Totally optional mission and very evil if you ask me.
As soon as I saw the title, I thought, “Mission and Zalbarr.” They made me wait, but it was there. Honestly, KOTOR let’s you do comedicly evil acts for no reason through the entire game
As my wife pointed out about Skyrim (after she'd gotten seriously into it for the better part of a year), the core premise involves killing living beings and then stealing their souls to power your magic. That, when you think about it, is pretty damn evil.
Jade Empire's choice in regards to Death's Hand was a rather evil one as well. Seems Bioware had a thing for making dark runs of their games involve surprisingly cruel options.
I played Open Palm path, but then the choice came and I thought "Well if I put this guy under my control, he can't do anything bad anymore." Apparently that was a VERY evil choice and my party told me as much. Good design then kicked in because the game immediately gives you the option to let him go, which I took. And prior to this, there was actually this fountain or something with the souls of soldiers inside. You can perform a ritual to free them and send them back into the cycle of reincarnation... OR irreversibly corrupt them so they will be barree from it. FOREVER.
Man that franchise needs to be picked up by someone else. Such an interesting setting/lore. God that game was good. You could do so many fucked things in that game, and it was hilarious
Jade Empire had really good choices that taught you not to just do evil just because it's the first evil choice you can do and to really think about things because even though a choice seemed open palm, you could eventually turn it into a closed fist decision that is way more evil than it would have been otherwise. I thought the drowned orphans quest showcased that nicely.
I think there's actually a more sly reason why the option to effectively nuke Arx in D:OS2 exists. It's because if you're sworn to the Void King and haven't broken it before you started that quest, you are FORCED to nuke the city, because the Void King uses your bond to take control of you and finish his plot through you. Don't make deals with evil deities, kids.
There's a third option for the Skyrim Namira quest, though it "fails" it. If you listen closely, even on the first time you do the quest, her words point towards her having friends who're also cannibals. If you go along with her antics and do all the parts up to getting the priest on the sacrificial table or even just before that you find the rest of her fellow cannibals; killing them all becomes an option. None are marked "essential", hence a third option. Failing the quest loses you nothing and I would argue gets a better ending.
The downside with this is that some of her fellows are traders, offing them makes selling you loot even harder. Since I'm planning to get all Daedric artifacts the next time I'm playing I'll see how I handle that situation then.
My evil choice was in Bloodborne after beating Ludwig he asked me in his last breath if his beloved church was doing well, there was two choices but I chose the NO answer and he died in agony, poor Ludwig 😖
One of the easiest and most evil thing you can do in Dragon Age 2 is actually send Isabella off with the Qunari to become a Tamatharan. That and becoming Rivals with Varric.
I used the teleporter to get a Sim on the second floor of a building, then paused the game, deleted the teleporter and then deleted the entire first floor. The Sim was now stuck in a small, floaty room, with no way out. Basically a purgatory.
Not cuz you have wronged your god. Not cuz it was part of God’s plan for a greater good. But because your God was bored….-plans a pool party and removes all ladders and builds a fence around it-
Actually, I am 99% sure (been a while since I played mass effect) you can resist Morinth's mind control with a high paragon score too, although recruiting her as a paragon character would definitely be an odd choice roleplaying-wise.
Renegade Shepherd in me3 is a ruthless son of a bitch. My Renegade walkthrough was hard to get through but very memorable and will stay with me forever.
I've never played any mass effects but I've been trying to find another series to get into. I know I'd like it bc I like fallout and other games of a similar faction.
Nothing from Fable? The game were you can slaughter everyone, eat baby chickens, destroy a kingdom financially, and literally has a series of quests that turn you into a demon how was that not on this list

There's one in the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion that sticks out to me. Its of course a Daedric quest, this one for Mephala, the Lady of Whispers. You have to go to this peaceful little village and manipulate two families who have lived peacefully with each other for years into full on war basically. The reward isn't half-bad being one of the most powerful weapons in the game, The Ebony Blade.
Just played a full Renegade playthrough of Mass Effect. I found it so hard to make some of the choices that I was offered as a renegade; and a lot of plot twists I didn't know existed when playing the Renegade character. (This is my fourth playthrough of the game and it's still managed to surprise me so many times!) Greatest game ever made.
Ive tried multiple times, and can't do it. Ive also been dinged in SWTOR, because I let the Jedi kids have love:*( It was the moment I realized the Jedi were evil. Take small kids form their parents and prevent them from having love.
I think this list is missing some entries: - Harvesting all the little sisters in Bioshock 1 - Blowing up Megaton in Fallout 3 - In Spec Ops: The Line, Walker can embrace Konrad's nature by shooting him at the end and then taking a rescue squad that originally came for him. - And maybe for a general playstyle choice, pretty much everything you can do in the Fable series lol
One of the first evil choices I saw in video games was the NES's "Dragon Warrior." The first time you face off against the final boss, the evil Dragonlord, he offers you the option to join him. If you do, the game immediately ends.
When I found out my friend had divorced me in Fable 3 I robbed his house blind and fed his wife to Balverines. Gotta love that hand grab mechanic. (It wouldn't let me kidnap their children but I did try 🤷🏼♂️)
I just remember playing Fable when I was a kid and doing this quest (while your character is growing up) where you get the option to punch/fight an older kid who is bullying this other smaller/younger kid, alternatively you can straight up just beat up the small child who is already getting bullied. I felt at the time that this was the darkest choice in the game, even though the game gave you the freedom to literally murder anyone, this choice just felt super mean. 😅
The writers at Bioware really understood evil. So many horrific things you can do... it's what I missed in inquisition, none of the real grotesque behaviors allowed.
If you played Pathfinder wrath of the righteous, you can become a swarm that walks, you basically chose to abandon ur humanity, your gods and your companions in order to become a collective swarm of flesh eating locusts. You can later on eat npcs in order to get stronger, and you can even eat your companions, romances and just destroy every life that stands in your way.
The game Tyranny has plenty of opportunities to be evil, but the one that stuck out the most to me, was spartan kicking the leader of the last remaining unsubjugated faction, off of a spire taller than a mountain, in front of the watching eyes of his soldier's, and the invading army.
Divinity original sin 2 pretty much is in a category of it's own as far as being evil goes. One of the major plot elements is your character becoming a god, and being able to feast/consume peoples souls when they die. So there's lots of instances of your charecter tormenting helpless ghosts, eating there souls, and obliterating them. I
That's basically the same as in Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer. Apart from becoming a god yourself, but you do get the chance to "eat" the soul of a dead god.
Dragon age origins has some of the most messed up things you can do in any video games ever. . My favorite is knowingly sleeping with one of the dalish elves which can cause a double suicide.
Fallout 3, arming the nuke in megaton, then detonating it at Tenpenny Tower, revisit ground zero (-ex megaton site) find Moira the research woman that helped you so often, she has somehow survived and as a result is now a ghoul. You can have a dialog with her and let her know you did it. That should have been here. Detonate the nuke at night its a better view. If that isn't evil idk what is.
Dooming the planet in Biomutant, then taking off into space was pretty messed up. I went all in, and didn't let anyone escape with me, outside of the ones the game forces you to bring along.
Betraying Mordin and not curing the Genophage better be number one. That look in Mordin's eyes as he realizes what you're doing is just... ugh, it still upsets me thinking about it.
My favourite evil thing to do in Skyrim is help Faendal defeat his romantic rival and the go straight to Camilla and marry her yourself. Faendal always turns up to the wedding 😂
Dragon Age: Origins had much more evil potential... The most mean thing you can do in that game is in a quest with the dalish elves, called Cammen's Lament, where a young lad wants to impress her beloved and marry her, but instead you can bang the woman and tell him the story. You get no reward for it, just some xp, and your whole team will hate you for it (with good reason). It's such a cruel and pointless quest option I was shocked to find out it is even possible. In video games nearly every evil quest has some benefit in acting evil (even in KOTOR you gain dark side power for your evil deeds), but this quest solution is nothing more than ruining a young guy's hope for happiness and perverting the girl he loved. For me that was the cruelest quest solution ever.
I know it's not a "choice" but it's just some of my favorite moment in the original GoW trilogy. Kratos in just about any of the GoW's, but more specifically, in 1 and 3, when you're in Hell and you've got to burn that captured Guard in the cage, or when you use Poseidon's Princess as a wedge
I remember that there was in a Warcraft game, while you played Arthas (I think) falling to the dark side. You were required to slaughter a whole city/village of innocent civilians. It was not an evil choice, or a rambunctious option you could make by breaking the game, or part of a storyline that you eventually chose into, or part of an evil quest chosen from the menu, but an integral part of the main quest that was required. I quit that right there.
Well not really, all of the civilians would've turned to Undead Zombies (because they were infected with Undead plague) and destroyed Human Alliance (because Stratholme was one of the most populated cities in the Lorderon.) Paladins supposed to help people (or purge those who endanger them) Arthas falls to the "Evil" side because head paladin and Arthas's father doesn't stick with him and alianate him.
I am afraid that neither matches my memory of the scene or any moral system that we all should abide by or that would make it better even if it were true. Translation: “I know about lore, so this ethnic cleansing is not bad!” (*goes on to explain how it is just as horrifying as described*)
When i saw Divinity Original Sin 2, I thought you would mention one of Fane's endings, where you can pretty much *spoilers* . . . . . . . . . let the eternals enslave the world. Your party members end up berating you in the post credits epilogue.

The quest Reaver gives you in Fable 2. You sacrifice the youth of some random girl for his prolonged life or you age your own character. Surprised there isn’t more fable!
Another BioWare classic, Jade Empire is full of these! Early on it the game one of your fellow Kung Fu students is injured and asks you to get them a certain medicine so they can keep training. Instead you can buy a cheap painkiller for them, then challenge them to a fight making them think they are healed enough for it. Naturally, you beat them to a pulp so you can claim a special early game stat boost and rack up some "Way of the Closed Fist " points for evil players.
for the uninitiate vamira in skyrim is one of the deadric lords that pops up in some of games with deadric item quest. completing the quest by helping her worshippers nets you vamira's ring which grants you some nice stat bonuses when you feed on a fallen foe. which if you're after all the trophies, is something you'll have to do as one of them is to get all the deardric items in the game

Hey Jake, the game Detroit become human literally gives you the option to detonate a dirty bomb in a crowded city. And that's the neutral ending. The bad ending involves main characters going to robot Auschwitz. My wife got that ending and she wasn't the same for a while
One of my earliest memories of being evil was in Fallout 2. There are kids who will pickpocket you and steal random items. Unfortunately, one of them once took a quest item related to obtaining the car. I decided the car was worth more than that babby's life pretty quickly 🤣

2 things from Skyrim: Boethia’s quest and Mephala’s sword. For Boethia you have to lure someone who trusts you to a pillar which binds them for you to sacrifice to the Deadric prince. For the sword to make it fully powerful you have to murder people who trust you. Companions, random NPCs you’ve helped, or beggars who you’ve given money to.
Oddly, pretty sure you can save Moridith even if you are super Paragon. I didn't try it but Resisted her with Paragon option and still was given the option to choose (I just chose Samantha so can't fully confirm)
I remember picking the dark side in KOTOR when I was like 12. I didn’t realize my party would turn on me and when it happened it made me actually sick to my stomach and I had to stop playing for a few days
Meh, was a priest of Boethiah, one of the most HARD CORE Daedric Princes, as in they only speak to you if you sacrifice a companion. So...anyone who follows THAT Daedra ain't exactly a saint. More a case of, sell one damned soul to ANOTHER devil to get a sick Mace as opposed to let him fall to the devil he LIKES and you get nothing. Ya know?
I was upset that you chose morinth scenario over curing the krogan or not scenario. But redeemed by the zaalbar/mission scenario. The most memorable jaw dropping scene of evil in my gaming career.
Well hear me out, i know that Morith is a serial killer that kills for the feels Buuuuuut she has some very reasonable points in her reasoning (if you know Asari lore). What asari does for breeding that they meld bioticly with other species and select which genes to be transfered to the offspring. Therefore trying to be the most geneticly advanced species. However only way that an Ardat-Yakshi to born is a melding between Asari and Asari, in which proves that ardat Yakshi is really the next level of Asari Purebloods. And Morinth says that Asari government dont like what this implies (to be seen as a "mother race" that is peacefull except that are technicly a parasitic race) so they imprison all Ardat Yakshi's to the sanctuary (even those who don't have killer impulses like Morinth's sisters)
The way I remembered the Zalbar and Mission ordeal in my first playthrough way back when, was that due to me helping him out with his people, made him swear some unbreakable loyalty to me and that's how I made him kill mission. But that was so long ago I might be remembering it wrong.
I was surpised not to see the ending of BALDUR'S GATE II: THRONE OF BHAAL. Yes, I realize this isn't as "graphical" as many games.. but at the end of the story, from a roleplaying perspective, you have the choice to follow the path to relinquish your lineage as a Bhaal and stay mortal.. or ascend to "godhood" but as the new Lord of Murder, pretty much an epic evil choice.
Currently replaying kotor 2 full darkside for my first time. Kreia been getting mad at me for the random murders on at least 2 occasions so far. "Are psychotic urges all that drive you?" And "I tire of your brutality" One dude told me to stop stealing his stuff from his apartment so I just killed him in cold blood. Another chick was working for the exchange as a receptionist and I'm like "should of got another job". Kotor 2 is brutal. Met up with bao dur and I'm just being the worst and he is so upset and I have to remind myself it's just a game.
Not quite as bad but still really bad: Romance Tali and Miranda in ME2 until Talk asks about you and Miranda. See Miranda's romance all the way through to then sleep with her in the engine bay. You'll get special dialogue from one if the crew members (I believe Joker) mentioning how messed up this is. You can then break it off with Miranda and sleep with Tali
I am not sure where it would place, but if you did a part two to this, Disciples: Liberation has some pretty evil stuff, for instance I just helped the undead to poison some Elvish towns, and wiped out I don't know how many of them

As my wife pointed out about Skyrim (after she'd gotten seriously into it for the better part of a year), the core premise involves killing living beings and then stealing their souls to power your magic. That, when you think about it, is pretty damn evil.
those living beings are literally trying to enslave all of mankind under their ruler alduin, so u dont really have a choice do u
not stealing but trapping them, so thats worse
trapping them in a dimension with godlike beings and trading them for buffs.
Jade Empire's choice in regards to Death's Hand was a rather evil one as well. Seems Bioware had a thing for making dark runs of their games involve surprisingly cruel options.

I played Open Palm path, but then the choice came and I thought "Well if I put this guy under my control, he can't do anything bad anymore." Apparently that was a VERY evil choice and my party told me as much. Good design then kicked in because the game immediately gives you the option to let him go, which I took.
And prior to this, there was actually this fountain or something with the souls of soldiers inside. You can perform a ritual to free them and send them back into the cycle of reincarnation... OR irreversibly corrupt them so they will be barree from it. FOREVER.
Man that franchise needs to be picked up by someone else. Such an interesting setting/lore. God that game was good. You could do so many fucked things in that game, and it was hilarious

Jade Empire had really good choices that taught you not to just do evil just because it's the first evil choice you can do and to really think about things because even though a choice seemed open palm, you could eventually turn it into a closed fist decision that is way more evil than it would have been otherwise. I thought the drowned orphans quest showcased that nicely.
I think there's actually a more sly reason why the option to effectively nuke Arx in D:OS2 exists. It's because if you're sworn to the Void King and haven't broken it before you started that quest, you are FORCED to nuke the city, because the Void King uses your bond to take control of you and finish his plot through you.
Don't make deals with evil deities, kids.
I love the choices you can make in Way of the Samurai and KOTOR.
There's a third option for the Skyrim Namira quest, though it "fails" it.
If you listen closely, even on the first time you do the quest, her words point towards her having friends who're also cannibals.
If you go along with her antics and do all the parts up to getting the priest on the sacrificial table or even just before that you find the rest of her fellow cannibals; killing them all becomes an option.
None are marked "essential", hence a third option.
Failing the quest loses you nothing and I would argue gets a better ending.
The downside with this is that some of her fellows are traders, offing them makes selling you loot even harder. Since I'm planning to get all Daedric artifacts the next time I'm playing I'll see how I handle that situation then.
Out of all the evil things I did in games. Killing Paarthurnax in Skyrim was the worst in my opinion. Will never do that again.

One of the easiest and most evil thing you can do in Dragon Age 2 is actually send Isabella off with the Qunari to become a Tamatharan. That and becoming Rivals with Varric.

I used the teleporter to get a Sim on the second floor of a building, then paused the game, deleted the teleporter and then deleted the entire first floor. The Sim was now stuck in a small, floaty room, with no way out. Basically a purgatory.

Actually, I am 99% sure (been a while since I played mass effect) you can resist Morinth's mind control with a high paragon score too, although recruiting her as a paragon character would definitely be an odd choice roleplaying-wise.

Way of the Samurai and KOTOR had some great choices too.
Renegade Shepherd in me3 is a ruthless son of a bitch. My Renegade walkthrough was hard to get through but very memorable and will stay with me forever.

I've never played any mass effects but I've been trying to find another series to get into. I know I'd like it bc I like fallout and other games of a similar faction.

Nothing from Fable? The game were you can slaughter everyone, eat baby chickens, destroy a kingdom financially, and literally has a series of quests that turn you into a demon how was that not on this list

There's one in the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion that sticks out to me. Its of course a Daedric quest, this one for Mephala, the Lady of Whispers. You have to go to this peaceful little village and manipulate two families who have lived peacefully with each other for years into full on war basically. The reward isn't half-bad being one of the most powerful weapons in the game, The Ebony Blade.

Just played a full Renegade playthrough of Mass Effect. I found it so hard to make some of the choices that I was offered as a renegade; and a lot of plot twists I didn't know existed when playing the Renegade character. (This is my fourth playthrough of the game and it's still managed to surprise me so many times!)

Ive tried multiple times, and can't do it. Ive also been dinged in SWTOR, because I let the Jedi kids have love:*( It was the moment I realized the Jedi were evil. Take small kids form their parents and prevent them from having love.
I think this list is missing some entries:
- Harvesting all the little sisters in Bioshock 1
- Blowing up Megaton in Fallout 3
- In Spec Ops: The Line, Walker can embrace Konrad's nature by shooting him at the end and then taking a rescue squad that originally came for him.
- And maybe for a general playstyle choice, pretty much everything you can do in the Fable series lol

One of the first evil choices I saw in video games was the NES's "Dragon Warrior." The first time you face off against the final boss, the evil Dragonlord, he offers you the option to join him. If you do, the game immediately ends.
The Fable series had some fun one's. GTA.
When I found out my friend had divorced me in Fable 3 I robbed his house blind and fed his wife to Balverines. Gotta love that hand grab mechanic. (It wouldn't let me kidnap their children but I did try 🤷🏼♂️)
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, Side Quest: Widow's Wrath.
You are given the option of Killing everyone in Canneroc instead of saving them.
I loved the soundtrack for that whole quest too.. So eerie
I just remember playing Fable when I was a kid and doing this quest (while your character is growing up) where you get the option to punch/fight an older kid who is bullying this other smaller/younger kid, alternatively you can straight up just beat up the small child who is already getting bullied. I felt at the time that this was the darkest choice in the game, even though the game gave you the freedom to literally murder anyone, this choice just felt super mean. 😅
The writers at Bioware really understood evil. So many horrific things you can do... it's what I missed in inquisition, none of the real grotesque behaviors allowed.
The closest one we got was making that lady lover of the Empress to be the court jester but that's about it I think? I could be wrong

If you played Pathfinder wrath of the righteous, you can become a swarm that walks, you basically chose to abandon ur humanity, your gods and your companions in order to become a collective swarm of flesh eating locusts. You can later on eat npcs in order to get stronger, and you can even eat your companions, romances and just destroy every life that stands in your way.
The game Tyranny has plenty of opportunities to be evil, but the one that stuck out the most to me, was spartan kicking the leader of the last remaining unsubjugated faction, off of a spire taller than a mountain, in front of the watching eyes of his soldier's, and the invading army.

Divinity original sin 2 pretty much is in a category of it's own as far as being evil goes. One of the major plot elements is your character becoming a god, and being able to feast/consume peoples souls when they die. So there's lots of instances of your charecter tormenting helpless ghosts, eating there souls, and obliterating them. I
That's basically the same as in Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer. Apart from becoming a god yourself, but you do get the chance to "eat" the soul of a dead god.
When you return the baby penguin in Mario 64 to get the star but then turn around and pick it back up to drop off the cliff anyway. RIP.
I'll be in hell for that one for sure.

Dragon age origins has some of the most messed up things you can do in any video games ever. . My favorite is knowingly sleeping with one of the dalish elves which can cause a double suicide.

My favorite is the ending of the Redcliffe quest line, where you sacrifice the mother, to save the kid, only to sell his soul to a demon.
I mean you get a pretty sick ring for doing Namira's quest so there's that.
And if you're a werewolf or a vampire at the time, taking a bite only makes sense.
I went with their quest, and once I got to their shrine, I slayed them all :D bloody heretics!

Fallout 3, arming the nuke in megaton, then detonating it at Tenpenny Tower, revisit ground zero (-ex megaton site) find Moira the research woman that helped you so often, she has somehow survived and as a result is now a ghoul. You can have a dialog with her and let her know you did it. That should have been here. Detonate the nuke at night its a better view. If that isn't evil idk what is.

Dooming the planet in Biomutant, then taking off into space was pretty messed up. I went all in, and didn't let anyone escape with me, outside of the ones the game forces you to bring along.
The fact that I own all but three of these games and have never done any of these evil options is actually astonishing.
You can spare the corpse cannibals in skyrim's city of markarth without eating that dude. They give you a ring, and life goes on as usual.

My favourite evil thing to do in Skyrim is help Faendal defeat his romantic rival and the go straight to Camilla and marry her yourself. Faendal always turns up to the wedding 😂

Dragon Age: Origins had much more evil potential... The most mean thing you can do in that game is in a quest with the dalish elves, called Cammen's Lament, where a young lad wants to impress her beloved and marry her, but instead you can bang the woman and tell him the story. You get no reward for it, just some xp, and your whole team will hate you for it (with good reason). It's such a cruel and pointless quest option I was shocked to find out it is even possible. In video games nearly every evil quest has some benefit in acting evil (even in KOTOR you gain dark side power for your evil deeds), but this quest solution is nothing more than ruining a young guy's hope for happiness and perverting the girl he loved. For me that was the cruelest quest solution ever.
I know it's not a "choice" but it's just some of my favorite moment in the original GoW trilogy. Kratos in just about any of the GoW's, but more specifically, in 1 and 3, when you're in Hell and you've got to burn that captured Guard in the cage, or when you use Poseidon's Princess as a wedge
I remember that there was in a Warcraft game, while you played Arthas (I think) falling to the dark side. You were required to slaughter a whole city/village of innocent civilians. It was not an evil choice, or a rambunctious option you could make by breaking the game, or part of a storyline that you eventually chose into, or part of an evil quest chosen from the menu, but an integral part of the main quest that was required.
I quit that right there.
Well not really, all of the civilians would've turned to Undead Zombies (because they were infected with Undead plague) and destroyed Human Alliance (because Stratholme was one of the most populated cities in the Lorderon.) Paladins supposed to help people (or purge those who endanger them) Arthas falls to the "Evil" side because head paladin and Arthas's father doesn't stick with him and alianate him.
I am afraid that neither matches my memory of the scene or any moral system that we all should abide by or that would make it better even if it were true.
Translation: “I know about lore, so this ethnic cleansing is not bad!” (*goes on to explain how it is just as horrifying as described*)

The quest Reaver gives you in Fable 2. You sacrifice the youth of some random girl for his prolonged life or you age your own character. Surprised there isn’t more fable!
Another BioWare classic, Jade Empire is full of these!
Early on it the game one of your fellow Kung Fu students is injured and asks you to get them a certain medicine so they can keep training.
Instead you can buy a cheap painkiller for them, then challenge them to a fight making them think they are healed enough for it.
Naturally, you beat them to a pulp so you can claim a special early game stat boost and rack up some "Way of the Closed Fist " points for evil players.
Love Jade Empire, I played it when i was wayyy younger didn't know it was made by bioware
for the uninitiate vamira in skyrim is one of the deadric lords that pops up in some of games with deadric item quest. completing the quest by helping her worshippers nets you vamira's ring which grants you some nice stat bonuses when you feed on a fallen foe. which if you're after all the trophies, is something you'll have to do as one of them is to get all the deardric items in the game

Hey Jake, the game Detroit become human literally gives you the option to detonate a dirty bomb in a crowded city. And that's the neutral ending. The bad ending involves main characters going to robot Auschwitz. My wife got that ending and she wasn't the same for a while

The fact that your dude gets so salty at your entire tribe, That he exterminates them is what I was hoping he would do, But damn I was speechless for a good 30 seconds after doing it.
2 things from Skyrim: Boethia’s quest and Mephala’s sword. For Boethia you have to lure someone who trusts you to a pillar which binds them for you to sacrifice to the Deadric prince. For the sword to make it fully powerful you have to murder people who trust you. Companions, random NPCs you’ve helped, or beggars who you’ve given money to.
i'd really love a game like overlord but with a much more darker setting.
Oddly, pretty sure you can save Moridith even if you are super Paragon. I didn't try it but Resisted her with Paragon option and still was given the option to choose (I just chose Samantha so can't fully confirm)

I didn’t realize my party would turn on me and when it happened it made me actually sick to my stomach and I had to stop playing for a few days

Meh, was a priest of Boethiah, one of the most HARD CORE Daedric Princes, as in they only speak to you if you sacrifice a companion. So...anyone who follows THAT Daedra ain't exactly a saint. More a case of, sell one damned soul to ANOTHER devil to get a sick Mace as opposed to let him fall to the devil he LIKES and you get nothing. Ya know?

I was upset that you chose morinth scenario over curing the krogan or not scenario. But redeemed by the zaalbar/mission scenario. The most memorable jaw dropping scene of evil in my gaming career.
Well hear me out, i know that Morith is a serial killer that kills for the feels Buuuuuut she has some very reasonable points in her reasoning (if you know Asari lore). What asari does for breeding that they meld bioticly with other species and select which genes to be transfered to the offspring. Therefore trying to be the most geneticly advanced species. However only way that an Ardat-Yakshi to born is a melding between Asari and Asari, in which proves that ardat Yakshi is really the next level of Asari Purebloods.
And Morinth says that Asari government dont like what this implies (to be seen as a "mother race" that is peacefull except that are technicly a parasitic race) so they imprison all Ardat Yakshi's to the sanctuary (even those who don't have killer impulses like Morinth's sisters)

The way I remembered the Zalbar and Mission ordeal in my first playthrough way back when, was that due to me helping him out with his people, made him swear some unbreakable loyalty to me and that's how I made him kill mission. But that was so long ago I might be remembering it wrong.

I was surpised not to see the ending of BALDUR'S GATE II: THRONE OF BHAAL.
Yes, I realize this isn't as "graphical" as many games.. but at the end of the story, from a roleplaying perspective, you have the choice to follow the path to relinquish your lineage as a Bhaal and stay mortal.. or ascend to "godhood" but as the new Lord of Murder, pretty much an epic evil choice.
A Plagues Tale, when you can knock them out...but no. You must have them devoured by rats as directed from my lil'bruh.

Not quite as bad but still really bad: Romance Tali and Miranda in ME2 until Talk asks about you and Miranda. See Miranda's romance all the way through to then sleep with her in the engine bay. You'll get special dialogue from one if the crew members (I believe Joker) mentioning how messed up this is. You can then break it off with Miranda and sleep with Tali
