It's been a hot minute since you've updated the build but I have to admit it looks amazing. Good news is it's getting closer to winter and the tree work will slow down giving you more time to work on the house.
Looks amazing! Soooooo much work! It’s easy to be a follower and watch as you and Brandon put in countless hours, labour, blood, sweat and tears. Then you find the time to video the progress!? Thank you for keeping a positive attitude and finding the time to share this. ❤
Coming together. Must be a good feeling. I was wondering about the earbuds I see a lot of people wearing. I tried different ones and none stay in my ears. As soon as I start working they fall out. I’ve tried every which way to make them stay and no luck. I haven’t tried silicone yet. 😊
It's truly looking amazing, that black really made everything pop and come together. I was not liking the idea at first, but wow, it really looks good..
got "WE HAVE CONCRETE WALLS" video randomly recommended, binged all! This is becoming a beautiful house, great color choices and the area looks great as well.
Very cool! Like most men I'm looking forward to hearing about all the nerdy/manly stuff in the basement. Utilities and equipment. Are you guys doing anything with solar for power or water heating? We're getting our first snow here today, its so pretty. Take care guys
You are a beautiful couple 💑. I love you both and would help with anything you have shown here, but you would do it yourselves and I understand why. That how you are beautiful. Love your work and new house. ❤❤❤
Hi guys, love your build, I'm also in the process of building my second nudura home and last one, was wondering if the color of your cannexcel is Cliffside it looks like the we picked. Good luck with the rest of your build.
hello timber mates & it's is randy and i like yours video is cool thanks timer mates friends randy ..... i am enjoy yours video is cool & super cool homes thanks friends randy
Only just found this channel. Absolutely awesome. Really great job guys. Definately Timber Mates, your work together is amazing. Just curious if i may ask, what the budget is for the build?
Very curious about how you did your radiant heat flooring on the upper level. looks like you used plywood inbetween the lines in place of a full skim coat. I haven't seen it done like this before. Was this due to weight, or economics...or both? are you happy with the end result? I would be concerned about ridges you could feel under carpet or even laminate if it wasn't perfect. Lookin' great! We will be starting our own ICF build on Vancouver island next year. Is always interesting watching others go through the process.
its held up well in other homes ive seen done for 20 years now and were very happy with it. No ridges felt under the floors. Its both for weight and cost as you said. I do try and run the opposite way of any flooring to help minimize that happening as well. Carpet has an underpad so if anyone still uses it i would not expect it to be a problem
I've been reading lots of really good comments on these videos. Am I the only one who noticed how smokin hot this hard working wife and mother is? LOL Great work!
awesome job. Made me laugh with ''we were so wrong about 2 weeks to do the Canexel....'' My time estimates should always be multiplied by 3at minimum....lol
It's rural, there's a house across the road. Check out our other house build videos to see more of the surroundings. We have horses on one side of us and the neighbour on the other side is hundreds of feet away with treed land between us.
i wish my girlfriend or wife did cool stuff like this and knew how to use tools. I'm in Vegas, so all the girls out here wanna do is talk about partying and fashion... and do drugs and be lazy.... and fat... the exterior looks really damn nice!!! good job to you both :) upload more frequently so people don't abandon the channel!!!
I watched your construction from start to finish. You are a great couple. With your experience, Brandon, and a hard-working partner like Karina, you could be tempted to turn hell into heaven. I wish you all the best and send you warm regards.

That black stain is a great contrast to the other colors. Gorgeous work! Slowly but surely it's getting done. Can't wait to see it finished.
So glad to see your new video with house build updates! Couldn't imagine using black stained lumber, until I saw how good it looked where you used it!
I was very happy to see that you guys posted a video. Been wondering how the build was coming along.
Happy to see this update, really enjoy watching you two work together. The home looks beautiful.
The front porch of the house looks amazing. Loving the colours and style. 👍

Fint hus med god smak för färgsättning. Grattis.
Looking nice. Scary to watch you use the cut off saw though. :)
Love it
Looks nice . so this is in a subdivision or developed area, saw other houses ?

Thanks, scott

the exterior looks really damn nice!!!
good job to you both :) upload more frequently so people don't abandon the channel!!!
That sounds terrible, lots coming soon on the channel if that is any consolation
Cool that you guys are able to cut your own lumber. There are some aspects of living in rural Canada that are pretty nice.
I watched your construction from start to finish. You are a great couple.
With your experience, Brandon, and a hard-working partner like Karina, you could be tempted to turn hell into heaven.
I wish you all the best and send you warm regards.
I missed you guys. And, I suppose, the ladies at the country club were scandalized, no, let's say horrified, at the dye spots on your arms!
Careena! Why are you not wearing steel toe boots whilst carrying that lumber!?!
I'm just wondering why use icf if you're in Canada. Icf is terrible for colder climates.
you sure about that??
How much per Sq ft usd or cad
doing a video on that soon
Soooooo…are we all invited for a housewarming shaker??
