We went on the last day and the flowers were very wilted. Next year going to go on the first weekend. Didn't try any food. It was a long walk from the parking lot but good exercise I guess and free but we did donate. A fun day for the family and kids!
@@amywendlandt6297 Awesome! Glad it was fun for family and kids. I think the sunflowers could be very wilty due to the day also. On very hot days it’ll be extra wilty. Better to go on nice weather or maybe early morning? Every little donation will add up and help them maintain the place! 😊
Younger sunflowers are heliotropic. They track the sun during the day and at night they turn around and face east in anticipation of the next sunrise. Older sunflowers don't do this anymore. They face east all the time. The sunflowers I spotted in the video appear to be older plants.
@@warrenj3204 every time I try to have halo halo, they run out. I went to Kumani location in Champlin after work one day and they ran out. When we went to Kusina the machine was broken that day. And none today. I don’t even know what it tastes like but it looks really good.

That’s interesting to know. No wonder most of them were facing one way
Never had halo halo. I had a Filipino friend who introduced me to several Filipino dishes including adobo which was my fave.

And yes that was some sad-ass pad thai. Wow.
@@warrenj3204 very sad 😔
I would feel bad for the first timers trying out pad Thai and thinking that’s what it’s suppose to be like.
Not the sort of event I'd enjoy these days. Too much chaos. Too many kids running around.
@@warrenj3204 Lol.. you’ll have to go on a weekday when the kids are all at school. I’m sure it’ll be more peaceful
