As a Vedic Astrology Apprentice, I have to say this is a VERY helpful video for anyone also trying to learn about Saturn. There are so many misconceptions with it!
Is the grit in a rock tumbler bad? It grinds and destroys the outer layers of the rocks, maybe the rock thinks its bad, but the guy polishing them wants them to shine. 🌟
Yes, Saturn is a good planet, but people feel it as bad, because they see it from the point of view of the ego. Yes, no one likes delays, restrictions, limitations, etc., but Saturn blocks you because he sees you are repeating the same mistakes over and over again, without learning from them. You are in a loop, repeating your bad karma without realizing it. That's why he's blocking your efforts, he doesn't want you to build more bad karma. If Saturn's good and strong in your chart, you can easily see results from your efforts, your input will be equal to your output, and there will be no delays. If you feel stuck in life, try to do things in a very different, even opposite way from what you have been doing up to now. If this new way feels easier, with less friction, then you're on target. Saturn says you can achieve what you want. Without his permission even Jupiter is helpless. 😜
thinking about saturn in such a rosy way will lead you down a path of abject misery if you make the mistake of applying it to the people that come into your life. saturn only very rarely brings mature, sober people. he usually brings cold, ruthless people instead.
@@Jackal-xd9dw Saturn does not bring people in your life. It is you, yourself, who is responsible for bringing/attracting someone or something to you. Saturn/kala/time will only show you their true colours. Saturn tells the truth. Always. That's why he is to no liking by the people, who prefer to hide from the truth. The truth about oneself can be really painful. 👍🙏🪷
Saturn is ruthless and has no mercy in nature.. I have moon and Saturn conjunction.. in my mother's womb itself it has started... My father found out that I'm a girl and he wanted a son.. my father had a bad spoken about me I wish she would die..... And childhood trauma goes on... And now after marriage I got a toxic mother in law.. I think you haven't gone through the Saturn curse therefore you are saying good things about him
Lord Shani approached me and wanted to work with me until my second Saturn Return... which is now 5 years off. I've been working with the personification and his position in my chart for almost 2 years now. It ahs been intense, but it ha NOT been horrible, scary, or even depressing. I have found this work to be very educational, and supportive of my Sadhana and my Path Home. My discipline has tightened and become stronger, I don't procrastinate much any more, and can identify many karmic lessons, challenges, and "boons" very quickly, and work with them instead of fight or overlook them now. Saturn is indeed not Bad, nor Good. Saturn is a teacher, and learning from it will yield many benefits and even some peace in knowing what you can do to surmount its challenges.
I'm so proud of you Vic. God's so proud of you. We greatly appreciate your diligent work, man. As a heavy saturnian, this confirms all I've ever theorized about Saturn. Thanks 1million times over.
I am so glad to have stumbled upon your Saturn video, I have Saturn in Libra at 21 degrees and liked the discipline it brought, the Mars in Capricorn helps too.
Hey Vic. Glad I found your channel. Thanks for this video, a lot of people must see this. Being an aquarius with Saturn and Uranus as my ruling planets, it really bothers me that people demonize Saturn so much and don't understand anything about Saturn.
In my last sadi sati, my father had a stroke, lasted two yrs., then died in my peak time. Now, thirty yrs later, I’m taking care of my stepfather ( the last eight yrs full time) I hit the first peak, he went in hospital and couldn’t drive anymore, now I’m in the long second peak and he’s joined hospice with heart slowly failing the last four months. He will be 96 in two weeks. My sadi sati might be more difficult and long since my Saturn is in Capricorn and moon is in Aquarius, so when Saturn hits my 12th house or the rising phase, I’m having my Saturn return. This has been extremely restrictive and the old house is falling apart as well. Grandkids with heart surgeries, three foster kids dumped on me, it goes on and on-responsibilities piling up so all I can do is surrender. I also have ketu and sun in cap with my Saturn in 2nd house of family. My moon is with Jupiter in third (ruling step parents?)but it’s appearing to only amplify troubles. During the time I went from Mercury/mars dasha to Mercury/Rahu dasha. Mars with Rahu in 8th house of unexpected sudden events. ( goodbye three molars!) Next March I’ll finally get out of peak Sadi sati but will still be in Rahu sub dasha till Oct 2025. I guess only then I will be able to separate the different planetary energies. Sorry to go on so long but if you’re still reading …gee, thanks. PS in January I qualify for social security. At least the money part will be relieved. The first check will come very close to the beginning setting phase.
my strange conceptualization of jupiter/saturn: jupiter is the diety who saves the main character from certain doom by giving them superpowers. saturn is the diety who punishes the main character once they began turning into the badguy and punishes them till they get their shit together. so jupiter saves from external threats, saturn saves from internal threats.
I had an experiences during which transiting Saturn was EXACTLY conjuncting one of my natal planets ... and, for a day or two, I felt as if I was totally connecting with ... something I can't really describe ... it felt like I was in connection with my timeless self ... it reminded me of being in contact with what is referred to as the "Holy Guardian Angel". This was decades ago and, unfortunately, I don't remember which natal point was being conjuncted. Even though I experienced it in such a strong way that I made a mental note of it I can't recall which planet was conjuncted... because that wasn't what really mattered to me at the time. What mattered was the strong Saturn, timeless self, Guardian Angel vibe. Hard to describe, I can't really. But it made me less afraid of Saturn, for sure. I would love to have that experience again.
I have a debilitated Saturn but possess in many sense more sturdiness than most people, I dare to say. Impatient yes, pessimistic yes, but sturdy. Strange, one might think. But there are many things to astrology! To begin with Saturn is with my Atma Karaka, the soul planet, in the D9 divisional chart (navamsha). Also, and this I learnt just today the distance between the Moons and Saturn's nakshatra is such in my chart that hardships bring me happiness! It's called Sani Chakra. It explains to me why I have a strong tendency towards austerity and hardships. Astrology consists on layers upon layers...
Saturn, being the karmic planet, offers a person important life lessons, that are not solely bad. In fact, they often times bring about profound growth and transformation, all that is necessary for soul's evolution and a person's happiness.
I have Saturn in my 8th house in Aries and my moon is here and South node and to be honest yeah at 27 I can say I have a very pessimistic view on happiness in life. Healing and trying to find balance with this energy but most of the time happiness is short lived in my life lol trying my hardest to change my perspective and view but ehh at this point 🤷🏾♂️
thanks for sharing Vic 🙏 Would you consider the Sun also as a malefic ? because every planet that gets close to the Sun will get burned or weakened with the one exception of the cazimi, right ? greetings Rocky
exactly the video to watch on a Saturnday. Thanks Vic-sama; request your responses to below queries 1. with reference to the concept of karma, is it possible to measure 'momentum'. Shall I interpret it as the 'effect' that most likely may happen because multiple planets are aligned in the same direction? 2. I personally find dignity to be very complex. I understand that you take an average dignity based on divisional charts but I feel that the approach dilutes the entire concept. I understand that it is a weighted average but just feel that interpreting planet in nakshatra is a better bet. Thoughts? 3. With reference to saade sati, would you agree that as Saturn is transiting around moon, person may 'feel' things are bad even if there isn't any 'real' manifestation.
Saturn during vacations: so necessary for the people who thought the ship would wait for them (Saturn as time.) Or the ones who thought they didn't need a visa (Saturn as law and restrictions.) Saturn in marriage: Saturn is exalted in natural 7th house of marriage. The lady who died at 56 (CEO of TH-cam) had debilitated Saturn. Madonna and Kim Kardashian's mother both have exalted Saturn. Old age is a blast!
After watching this one 3 times, can conclude that indeed I am Saturn's eldest daughter. Very grateful to have someone else explain what I've know forever. Also, in the matter of sade sati, 4 year ago an astrologer told me it would be unadvised to move to a foreign country as I was going through sade sati, needless to say I moved anyway, away from my country and Grandma, it proved to be more fruitful than spring itself. Fellow souls, don't be scared of the cold rings of Saturn and don't dread its grip, it might be the only thing holding you together ❤️🔥 Thank you Vic. “Saturn isn’t bad” .. proceeds to list pretty terrible attributes associated with Saturn 😂 Malefic DOES in fact equal “bad” no matter how you try to play with words. “Negative” is “bad.” Saying it isn’t doesn’t negate it. Saturn is only favorable if placed favorably in your chart. Otherwise, he is in fact BAD. He can cause illness, death, depression, anxiety, angst, loss, poverty, pain, tragedy, isolation, separation, etc there is nothing neutral about the planet. I’m Saturn ruled with Aquarius on the Ascendant in a night chart. Saturn is in his own sign in Capricorn in my 12H squaring ALL of my personal planets. So from lived experience I can tell you, to about half of people on the planet if not more, especially whole impoverished nations/countries, Saturn is BAD. Please stop trying to downplay it just because he isn’t bad to YOU.
