We have over 200 acres on our dairy farm. It's LOTS of very hard work with little to no pay. The only thing keeping us going is the things we get instead of money. Great family, a beautiful property, and an awesome uniqe life!

Farmers family are a gift from God, without the farmers, I could imagine what and where this world would go. Those land to till and the rains are the food of the body and the souls. My grandfather is also a farmer, and I witness how he loves to care for his farming, and we are self sufficient, more than enough for our needs.

In the states that legally sell Marijuana crops, either for medical or recreational use our Government has assured that only multi-million dollar corporations can qualify to produce commercial crops. The American farmer needs to rise up and take his future back. Small farmers can compete and produce great products if they are not restricted out of the fair market by bureaucratic regulations and crony capitalism.

I gave absolutely, no fucking shits about farming. Until the gospel of Farming Simulator entered my life, and opened a future, magical gateway to farming for me. And that's what brought me here.

Wow! I was actually also brought up and grew up surrounded by farms. When I was a kid I really love taking care of lambs, goats, and other farm animals. My parents had a farm tho I was not even born. But I was able to experience this kind of life. It was really amazing working with nature. They won't yell at you., You can have your spare time if you needed to. You can actually have your time whenever you have problems., just go in the middle of the farm and shout so loud. I did that many times when I was around 18.. I loved everything being a farmer myself. Now that I am now got by the beauty of our coutry's city (working now for a group of lawfirm) I really miss this kind of stuff. I'm getting sick of working with computers and papers but farming did not even make me feel being sick. I so love being a farmer. I hope there's still opportunity for me out there for being a farmer. That is my destiny I think, being a farmer is the greatest job I would get.

Farming, in Africa as one of the developing continents, still has huge potential. Most people in Africa face starvation despite the good climate and other resources. Information is very important to tap on this potential. I hope we can get more of this positive stories. Good content.

Home school. Don't need teachers. Jason Bourne did not need a doctor. Off grid= no fixers. Just farming/homesteading, police/militia/fire. Dont forget the brewer. Still all of these are gone if citizens were home schooled and off grid. Militia/military=most needed.

Always hated chasing parts and have labor not show up, plugged up combines, stuck tractors, it's not as easy life as some of these videos try to make it out to seem. Grass is always greener on the other side.

Many farmers are committing suicide in India.Government should educate farmers on farming technologies and should provide subsidies if the harvesting fails because of rain or drought. That's why many farmers are educating their children not be farmers and most of the younger people have migrated to city to work in IT and other sectors..! This is my story too !!

    • @andyv4585

crop insurance is supposed to help pull people through the bad years but of course that's just another cost too. we're also at the mercy of the free market and having to compete with countries like China and Brazil where modern farming is just starting to really take off. some of those countries can also get 3 crops a year which of course helps drive up supply and drives down the prices farmers can get for crops

Yoganand T S in sweden we all get a certain ammount of pay from government if the harvest fails because of draught, disease or insects. Although its not as good as it sounds, can take up to 2 years to get your pay for some stupid reason, and its not a lot compared to what a good harvest would pay...

Criganian if youve read petas facebook, i can tell you right now that 99,99% of all that is fake bullshit. Might happen in 1 of 100 farms. Cows dont suffer at all in modern farms. They should be even happier now than if they were completely free, they are safe from wolfs and bears, they always get enough food, a varm place to spend the winters. The only thing they give is the milk, but they would have given it to the calves anyway. And the calves doesnt really miss out on it, they get it from bottles from a human instead untill they are later released back with the cows when they are old enough.
