Instead of giving a warning of a needed forced regen it derated and shut the engine down while traveling on I-20/I-69 at mile marker 13 in Alabama. It took everything I had at the moment to keep the truck from going down the embankment on the right of way.
Once in my life, probably just for fun, I started driving when I was younger, I had a flatbed that was only loaded in the front and I had to turn around so I backed the trailer in a old corn field, she sank pretty good, mud everywhere, but you have to keep the drive tires on the road or you will be stuck, stay strong

I'm a very laid back easy going person and I always charged fair prices but when they pissed me off the price went up very fast. Here in Washington state the combined weight of this vehicle can be a maximum of 80,000 pounds legally. This truck doesn't have the required axles to haul more than this. With proper amount of axles & axle spacing a vehicle can be legally weigh up to 105,500 pounds gross weight.
The trucks waiting to get by look like they are pulling wood chip trailers going to/from the pulp mill. They had 8 axles and were probably unloaded as the boost axle on the tractor was not on the ground. Making paper products. With 8 axles and correct spacing on axles, he can haul 105,500 pounds. I've met those types. A driver pulling a tri-axle van at night, got a flat tire. Didn't notice and kept driving. There had to be 50 feet of sparks behind him but he didn't notice. The wheel was down to the hub and into the hub. There was nothing I could do for that trailer except chain up the axle and direct him to a repair shop. When we got there, the driver didn't want to pay. His claim was that I didn't help him in any way. So,I blocked him in with the wrecker and called his boss. He paid no problem. Idiot driver.
If his boss insisted on a price I think I might have given him a 10 hour price and if it was less he'd be pleased. But, really, how "smart" does a driver have to be to get stuck the way this driver got stuck?

That’s a very inexperienced owner you had to deal with. Yes, owners do have to worry about the bill to fix the drivers mistake, just be patient and deal with it after the road is cleared. I’ll bet that the driver realized he took the wrong turnoff and called the owner who said, “ just do a u-turn”.

I've met those types. A driver pulling a tri-axle van at night, got a flat tire. Didn't notice and kept driving. There had to be 50 feet of sparks behind him but he didn't notice. The wheel was down to the hub and into the hub. There was nothing I could do for that trailer except chain up the axle and direct him to a repair shop. When we got there, the driver didn't want to pay. His claim was that I didn't help him in any way. So,I blocked him in with the wrecker and called his boss. He paid no problem. Idiot driver.
After observing the company name, plains it all!

If his boss insisted on a price I think I might have given him a 10 hour price and if it was less he'd be pleased. But, really, how "smart" does a driver have to be to get stuck the way this driver got stuck?
03/31/2021 Been there done that but I left the scene and waited for another call never to return. The police called and wanted mr to pull without pay. I told them the truck was out of service. Call someone who dives a da--! Don

That’s a very inexperienced owner you had to deal with. Yes, owners do have to worry about the bill to fix the drivers mistake, just be patient and deal with it after the road is cleared.
I’ll bet that the driver realized he took the wrong turnoff and called the owner who said, “ just do a u-turn”.
Here in Australia we call those type of drivers (Steering wheel attendants).
