You often get annoyed when opponents flail in the endgame while massively behind. It's understandably frustrating, for sure...
HOWEVER, as a viewer, I get a ton of learning experience watching how you respond
Since rude/silly people do the same thing to us in OUR games, it's very useful to see how someone of your level handles it calmly and (often) simply
Ty for suffering for our education! xD ❤

One way I use to accept losses in end game gracefully is to give my opponents credit for their fighting spirit, instead of bashing myself with self-contempt or condescending their resilience "as shanenigans". I love your entertaining style, but I think accepting such mistakes gracefully is part of maturity and wisdom Go offers. Love you, thanks again for everything.

Don't you try to pass cheap tricks off as honorable fight huh? Especially if your opponent clearly knows as well that their moves stink
Fighting spirit should be when one finds a sequence of moves that allow for a victory and not when the opponent makes a mistake.
I don't think such moves that rely on mistakes should be appreciated in any way.
They do not work, they do not show fighting spirit. And moreover, if the opponent doesn't know that was all very poor play it will encourage them to do that even more in the future, which is bad
Also, accepting mistakes doesn't have anything to do with the appreciation of the traps you fell for

@@Мопс_001 All is fair in love and war. Even likes of Musashi have used the mistakes & shortcomings of their opponents to their advantage. I respect both the honor of the fighter who knows how to accept defeat and also the one who doesn't.

      @@dorukcansev I don't think so.
Using mistakes and shortcomings is one thing, making moves that rely on future mistakes (in particular when you know your opponent is highly unlikely to make them) is *another.*
There is a difference to those who play strong&win and those who play cheesy&win. Only the former really deserves credit.
No encouragement for poor playing that shouldn't normally work.

I recently started trying to learn chess (which I am notoriously bad at), and am currently going through low elo hell where every other player throws Scholar's Mate out in desperate hopes of a 4 move win. Super sad. You talking about joseki tricks here reminded me of that.

I pulled the 4 move check-mate trick once when my 6th grade class was doing a team chess tournament. I had been out when my teammates decided how we were ranked so I couldn't tell people I knew how to play so the boys decided they must be better than I was and only ranked me above the other girl.
It worked too, I was kind of horrified, the book I learned it in was very clear that your opponent had to follow very specific moves to not block it and I figured that even if I was playing someone who hadn't heard of it they'd still do something accidentally. Anyway, I won all of my games and then the teacher had us re-shuffle me up a rank for the next round.

I like how you sacrificed the c7 group three times. :)
