What Chris does with a bass line is he makes it just as important in their music as any other instrument and makes sure you don't hear only 1 or 2 notes droning. This songs bass line has a bouncy type thing to it where it seems like its bouncing around as much as Matt did in the video. Honestly, MUSE is sooooooo UNDERrated and the sad thing is its because you cannot fit them in a specific genre or the person you ask just isn't aware of them. But again great cover.
I find it's good they're underrated because once you become massively popular/being appreciated, media/people will start throwing things at you. I've seen enough bullying people did to some big names. Muse are doing just fine with the small amount of fans who appreciate their works. They make no unnecessary noise, just attend the show, enjoy the music, and leave the members live their lives in peace.
This is honestly a really good cover and an insanely good tone.

Yeah. Muse definitely have the recognition they deserve, but many just see them as a knock-off version of Radiohead sadly.
