Camping in a VW Caddy Inside A Game Reserve with Wild Animals

- In this video I used a 7 seater VW Caddy as a camping vehicle. I visited a game reserve called Tala Game Reserve in KZN, South Africa which has a self drive that you can do to admire all the wildlife in the reserve. I removed the middle and rear seats from the Caddy to turn it into a large space that I could use as a sort of vehicle camping tent. This has been a video I wanted to do for a long time but never had the vehicle to do it in.

Those Caddy's are extremely versatile and hardy.
In the EU they are popular for exactly how you used it.
If they made a 4x4 version , it would have been a fantastic Overlanding vehicle for 1 person.

Awesome video bro . I'm an avid viewer of what stuff content creators put out and it's mainly these guys in America doing these urban and abandoned explorations. On very few occasions would you come across someone doing something on our own province and city so it was refreshing catching up on some stuff we may not afford to do or may not have the time to do or fears of doing content creation in a country as dangerous as ours SOUTH AFRICA. When you come to the comments not everyone will find your stuff amazing but there's something called constructive criticism then there's unnecessary criticism from someone who can't do what you doing but has all these so called premonitions about what it takes to grow your channel. My question is , if someone knows the ingredients to creating a huge channel then why are they here criticizing what you do ? Where's their successful channel of millions of subscribers ? .. even if bro camped in his backyard and filmed it for his channel, it's his content, his choice and his channel. Even if bro braaied kfc chicken, it's his business and his channel. People enjoy the conversation you have, people enjoy seeing the experience you're trying to relay. It doesn't have to be on the production level of a movie or something because people enjoy it. To that person, take your own advice and create something of your own instead of putting someone who clearly knows what his doing, down. Dude just showing us what's a camping trip on your own, he brought something easy to prepare and if it doesn't suit you then go watch something else.🎉

I think you should consider selling your car and buying the caddy. Then you won't have to worry about buying new tents all the time. And you'll have plenty of space at the back. And a car that can handle terrains better than your current car
You can still have tents. Just that you won't use it all the time and you will have a second option where it comes to sleeping, especially if the weather becomes bad where you're camping, you know you can sleep in the car
