I must say background music that accompanies such teaching moments of your coinage series aids the brain in ‘think fast’ mode and calms the restless beast in me. Hey! Perhaps this may be helpful in the conundrum faced by neo-physicists relevant to matter/anti-matter = 0 + You&I. A good day to thee, Sir Science. 🌺

      In this experiment our objective is to find the value of "meu" by using the ratio of "sin i" and "sin r". To do that after getting the lines (incident ray and refracted ray), we will draw a circle at the point of interface. After that we will draw perpendiculars from the point of intersection where the circle cut the incident and the refracted ray. The ratio of the length of the perpendiculars will give us the value of the refractive index. Hope this will help.

    ... Would explain how we get a refracted view of the night sky... But the results of such could make people feel uneasy, or scoff and laugh. Depending on whether they had an overabundance of school and homework, but it would depend even more upon whether they actually DID the homework.
    However absence of mind doesn't account for the multiple people who go missing when they talk about such things.

    • @science_sir
      @science_sir  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Angle of I should be equal to angle of e (as the incident ray always parallel to the imergent ray). So try to draw an incident ray using given angle of incidence I (as it has give in the book). Then accordingly try to draw and complete the rest of the part. Now from the figure try to calculate the ratio of sin I and sin r. Hope this will help. All the best for your exams. Regards

      +Science Sir apne ek incident ray ke liye ye experiment ki hein. agar hum 5 incident ray k liye karte toh keise. only incident angle change kar de kya sir?

    • @science_sir
      @science_sir  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Jintu Kalita ya just change the angle of incidence, the corresponding all angles will automatically change

    Why we have chosen incident angle as 30

    • @science_sir
      @science_sir  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Muhammad ayub Rajput angle 30 deg is easy to calculate without using scientific calculator. So for our convince we have taken this angle. U can take any other angle if u like. The result will be same at the end. Regards

    Did I know why emergence angle was 29° because angle of incidence is also 29°

    • @science_sir
      @science_sir  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      In case refraction takes place in a glass slab, incident ray always parallel to the emergent ray, as they are parallel and the refracted ray can be considered as a transversal, the angle of incidence make equal angle with the angle of emergence. Hope this will clear your doubt. Regards
