Must be around 30-40 people on my server farming eggs so the mine is the best option for me. Also gathermate addon when used with the gathermate import data has an option to show egg locations too
Hey, yeah they are rare, but if you have warmode on they are nonexistent, after I turned warmode on I found about 12-13 if I checked every spawnlocation
Note: the Netherwing eggs can drop from the mobs rarely, as well as from ore and herb deposits. They also spawn as objects around the ledge and fortress. Remember to turn WM on/off to switch servers and find more eggs
Second comment but more informative: I just finished the Cenarion Expedition grind and want to share my experience: So I started with Honored in Cenarion Expedition due to some Timewalking dungeons and also some rep from Loremaster leftovers (Netherstorm, Blades Edge Mountains, Nagrand, Shadowmoon Valley) I recently did. (Of course it is way easier, if you do quests in the Zangar Marsh as well) I did this close to reset, so it includes 2* heroics. What I did: 2* HC Underbog 2* HC Slave Pens 2* HC Steamvault 11* Normal Underbog 1 Mob in Steamvault (required to get 1 rep at 20999) Why? Underbog is built like a circle, from the last boss, you just jump down and you are at the start of the instance, easy reset. And in Underbog, you can farm Sanguine Hibiscus, used for Sporeggar reputation (You can turn them in inside the dungeon). Don't make the "mistake" of buying Sanguine Hibiscus in the auction house like I did (brought around 80 with me) In my runs, I farmed around 280 Sanguine Hibiscus (spawns inside the dungeon but also drops from all mobs except the naga part before Ghaz'an and the part between Ghaz'an and Swamplord Musel'ek) which you can easily sell at the auction house for a decent amount of gold Also I recommend to do it with herbalism as this is far easier to track Sanguine Hibiscus. It took me around two hours with that way, to get two reputations to exalted. Hope it helps :)
This is an old comment but underbog is bad choice. I started doing Underbog at first following the same reasoning, however the mobs in Underbog reward significantly less rep and the dungeon is just as long if not longer even factoring in the time it takes to run back from Steamvault. I forget the values for the trash but Steamvault bosses reward ~175 rep a kill and Underbog bosses reward ~70 a kill. There is only one more boss in Underbog than Steamvault so on bosses alone, it does not offset the rep loss. There is also more trash in Steamvault. More trash + higher value trash = just do Steamvault.
Update as of 5/10/2021. I am new to WoW and love completing achievements. This guide worked easily in Shadowlands xpac for all the mounts. And everything is one shot. Good luck

For cenarion expedition, I'd highly recommend farming DEHTA ears from WotLK and just doing the repeatable. Far easier than doing dungeons if you have a class with nice aoe spam.
tips for people: You can buy shatari rep (although it's fairly simple to farm, some people want the fastest results). I did all the quest for a large chunk of rep and then spent about 25k on shadow dust and turned it in during anniversary + darkmoon faire bonus for exalted. It is an infinite turn it and was pretty cheap on my server to do. Netherwing - best on RP server as limits competition. I play on tiny RP server. If you also play on a small server, you have to be in area for around 1-1.5 hours before ANY eggs spawn. Found this out after not finding ANY eggs and lookin at wowhead comments. I usually did my dailies then afk'd in area for around 30 minutes. Look in fortress, then ledges, then go in the mine and kill everything. Mobs have a chance to drop the eggs and so does grabbing ore/herbs I've heard. Usually I was able to get around 12-18 eggs a night and knocked this rep out within a couple days!
Today, I ran the quest chain for the Sons of Hodir. Upon finishing "A Spark of Hope" and "Mending Fences," I got 42,900 rep at once (up to Neutral) and 39,800 rep at once (Exalted). Maybe it automatically turned in all the relics I had collected? I spent yesterday grinding Wyrmrest Accord. Regardless, was pleasantly surprised to not have to grind it. Note: This is during WotLK Timewalking, so increased rewards
I have every single one of these mounts but I did them when those Expansions came out so it's not so bad such as starting from Scratch :) Enjoy those Rep Grinds people :P
Hi wanted to let you know I got exalted with the warheads in 2 hours 15 min sometimes there was competition but that just make me try even harder to be the fastest and get to the ogers before they did and when the they left I still kept up that pase as training for the next competition that would show up I'm now 284 in the achiev for lord of reins men! And btw I'm farming Argent tournament on 5 toons at the moment hahaha men!! I love your content!!!!
I would also add to wait for an in game event that gives a rep buff. Every bit helps. I think there are a few per year. This is particularly useful for when you have items that give rep.
Skyguard has some daily quests in Skettis and Ogri'la too; you can gather reputation easily every day at your leisure. only for achievement hunters: Fire over Skettis and Bomb them Again ! done in a certain time gives achievements and Bomb them Again ! during Winter Veil on a reindeer mount counts as another achievement and is mandatory for the "Merrymaker" title. Netherwing comes with its own bunch of daily quests too.
I forgot and that Netherspite in the Karazhan raid also can drop netherwing eggs at a pretty high drop chance. I killed him and got two so there's one more source every raid lockout
A tip for the nether wing eggs.... just do the daily quests as the eggs are kinda hard to find unless it’s 3-4 AM and even then the most I found was like 8 after searching for a couple hours. Just do the daily’s and grab eggs as you do that. It’s the long game but it’s not worth your time for the eggs IMO. Maybe you had a different xp?
Remember grinding Netherwing in 2008. Was so happy when I got could ride something other than those stupid gryphon flying mounts. Felt like the best hunter in the world. Fast forward to Legion and the Hunter class mount is....A gryphon. AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!

If you’re going for Sons of Hodir, wait for a Wrath timewalking week. The rep buff will get you to exalted just from the questline without ANY grinding.
I love the nether drake and will grind with one more char to get another one. But the eggs are pain in the ass. If you aren't on early in the morning there are nearly no eggs around. You can also go to Karazhan and get 2 eggs at that one drake boss. So thats kind of nice every week to do.
I go really early and I have trouble finding eggs, except in the mine, where I can hope to bag two or three. Today I got three which were just lying there. Yesterday I got one from killing fledglings, one from those black blob thingies and one from mining.
best to go do cenarion expedition with an herbalist and do underbog for the rep items that can drop while herbing mobs for sporeggar and you can do these at the same time as wearing a vanilla wow rep tabard so you get 3 reps done at once so forget about steam vaults. In Nagrand go to a cave for warbeads. Keep turning all the shadow dust it's repeatable all day long don't get 500 of them before turning them in that rep can be done in a couple hours if you do it when people are not around but most people just do dailies. DON"T BOTHER LEAVINGSKETTIS FOR OTHER QUESTS IT WILL SLOW YOU DOWN. As for netherwing rep get friendly do the quests that come up farm eggs in the mine you can loot off mobs for. With every rep upgrade comes new quests Friendly-Honored-Revered all spawn new quests that worth a lot. The quartermasters for major cities are always near a flight path withen a city horde or alliance. For rep in all of wrath all you need to do for most is quest in every zone till you get friendly with the faction in that zone then see the quartermaster for that faction and put the tabard on and go to Pit of saran and grind your rep there as well as try for the BATTERD HILT OR go to halls of lightning and farm "Relic of Ulduar" from the mobs that you can turn in for rep with sons of hodir after you are friendly with them.
just for WotLK: the Argent Crusade in Icecrown at the tournament area pelts out a lot of mounts too. the daily quests shoves all race factions to exalted (Exalted Champion of Alliance/Horde), so it was done in those times to gain access to the basic faction mounts as well. :)
I totally hate the Kurenai/Mag‘har grind Probably because I spend 6 freaking hours there few years ago, killing ogres like crazy to get the rep to exalted. Luckily I never have to do this again

For Tabaaard City Rep farm there is an easy way. Go to Legion Eye of Azshara and kill all 5 Bosses on normal Mode. You will Earn 1,5k Rep each run without doing trash because you get nor rep from them. Time: 4 Mins for 1 Run. So That mean you can get in 1 Hour 15k Rep. After 10 Runs you have to wait an hour. But it seems 15k per Hour is a good and fast rep farm to get Exalted in 1 Day
My brother and his friends got me into wow his friend collects pets and my brother just likes playing the game but seems like everyone has stuff they love to collect I decided I would collect mounts bc I find them super awesome and flexy whenever I do the grinds for em they always are like you shouldn’t it’s just a time waste but I’m fine with it lol just wish it was a little bit easier to understand what needs to be done for mounts
After flying with karynaku i dont get any quest from Mordenai. Im also stuck at Exalted at 999/1000 with the netherwing. I also cant talk to the orcs on netherwing ledge.
I'm not sure if this is a bug that is only happening for me, or if anyone else has been having this issue right now, since I haven't seen anything posted about it recently, but when farming Shatari Skyguard rep, Terokk and the some of four mini bosses stop giving me reputation on kills. I summoned and killed Terokk 6 times yesterday, and only got reputation for 3 of the kills (was able to loot him each time, and able to turn in the quest on the first kill). I killed each of the mini bosses about 10 times, getting reputation at the most 8 times, at the least 3 times, per mini boss. I wasn't sure if it was some sort of hidden timer on number of kills per mini boss, so I went and did other things for a bit and came back to it, but it still didn't give reputation. I even started making waypoints on the skull piles to summon the same mini boss from each skull pile, in case that had something to do with it. Nothing worked.
Interesting, I have a friend farming it atm and they havent ran into any issues like that but ive asked them to keep a closer eye on it as they may just have not noticed.

Been working on the armored frost bear for a few months but I don't get what timer it is on. Half the time I go there the mission isn't available despite it being days or weeks in between.

If you want to get the faction reps exalted, I recommend going to botanica in Outland. That should give you the highest amount of rep possible

UPDATE: Sons of Hodir mount questline took a group of 3 of us about 20 minutes to complete. This is a 3 person mount.

Thats because its currently the TBC timewalking event so you get a 50% rep bonus. Best time to grind out TBC reps though!

Wait, what? I wear the Orgrimmar Tabard when running nhc Dungeons etc in Outlands (TBC classic) and get rep at Orgrimmar for the Frostwolf mount?

Interesting, I have a friend farming it atm and they havent ran into any issues like that but ive asked them to keep a closer eye on it as they may just have not noticed.

why when i look up netherwing rep it says its exalted but i didnt get drake?
You should have a quest over at the daily hub that will take you to shat to pick your mount
The netherwing egg farm is such a pain. Might just stick to dailies mainly.
I just farm the mobs in the mine...black bloods of draenor in the big area with the mine tracks. Plenty around and really fast respawn times. Only a 1% drop chance but they also drop a sludge covered object which could contain an egg. Load of people are farming the eggs but not many farming the mobs.
And if nothing else plenty of trash and greens to vendor for a bit of extra gold.
Try nozdormu or hydraxian😂 nw repu is nothing when you know what you need for nozdormu or hydraxian.
Been working on the armored frost bear for a few months but I don't get what timer it is on. Half the time I go there the mission isn't available despite it being days or weeks in between.

What Addon is that you are using for your action bars and character ui please?
My UI is called SyiUI, you can find it on WoWInterface although the last time I updated it on there was 8.0 so you will have to use something like the Twitch Client to get all the addons updated before use. You have to continue getting rep, then more quests will be available. Hope you are exalted by now though.

anyone know how much beads u need to collect to go from revered to exalted?
It takes 42 hand ins to go from Revered to Exalted, that is 420 warbeads which is somewhere around 700-1000 ogre kills.
