This locker cost me just a buck, and it was packed full of furniture and boxes. In the last episode, we went through a lot of it, hunting for treasures with minimal success. But I have been trying to save the best for last, and one of the best finds has been the mysterious carved wooden trunk. It's probably the nicest one I've ever found, and we hope it contains the valuables. We'll find out together in this episode of Locker Nuts!

I am a crocheter of 40 plus years and everything I have ever made was made for family or friends. A lot of love and time plus the cost of the yarn goes into each and every thing that is crocheted. I have been watching your channel for a couple of days now and really enjoy seeing what you have bought at action. My favorite one was you finding that 1.55 caret diamond ring. I would have kept that ting for myself.
I totally love the appreciation you showed for the crocheted afghan!! Those things take lots of time and material and most are made with love by the crafter. It is always sad to see them in thrift stores and the like.
I'm a southpaw crocheter and when I visit back home in America, my mom (who's also a crocheter) we love going to thrift stores, Salvation Army stores and we'd definitely buy the crocheted items from there💓💯‼️👨👩👧👧🇺🇸🇯🇵🌏🗻🗾

This arrived really, really quickly and is exactly what I've been looking for. Perfect size, color (pink) and has stood up for nearly a year so far against my kids using it as a chair, stage, and barricade (😬) to keep each other out of their rooms. I'm probably going to order another one for my daughter's Barbies.

There is a little key like thing from Smart Key that you can open boxes with. It goes right on your key ring. Love that you put that frog in your front yard😂

Thank you Jack. I felt so bad for you at the unit. You could see it in your face how the heat was getting to you. She really loved those frogs. My cousins called me frog as a teenager and still do to this day. Though I really don't know why. Looking forward to the next video. Luna is a beautiful cat and walks around like she is the boss. Lol

Sits on top of the huge tube TVs back in the day. Your rolling commentary has me laughing all through the video Jack. 😅 "Come on little Trollie! Poop out those dimes! Poop Poop Poop!" Bwahahaha! The Vintage TV trays should be brought to the Monday auction. I think the pink cloth house was a tissue dispenser cover.

Considering the shape an trash of the locker. Can you just imagine the house or apartment ? Oh yes sure that you can. Love your videos. Always come back. It's your voice an respect.Some scream or scratchy like running nails over a screen door . Or just in such a hurry they dont seem to care really. Its shows your love for what you do.
The Emmet Kelly painting of the sad clown is worth alot especially if signed.
I had one in my bedroom, when I was growing up, it always scared me. I was always afraid of clowns even back in the 60's. 😬
I searched for the Artist that signed the Clown painting and could not find anything. Okay, let me clarify, I searched by the way it was spelled on the painting - Florence Koeller.
A lot of nicknacks for flea market I love wind chimes and the garden animals those are what I look for when I go

That kitty night light is vintage. Yes look him up. I’ve got a siamese cat one that my grandmother gave me. I’ve only seen one other one in my lifetime. And it had $70 on it in an antique shop.
I dig that siamese cat lamp. It reminds me of my grandmother. She always had Siamese cats and I bet that vintage poly and acrylic blanket feels just like the one that was on the guest bed. So true that saying about buying and selling memories! I swear I can feel that darn blanket now
Those embroidery pillowcases remind me of my childhood. My mom taught me to embroidery and I always loved to do pillowcases. Those can be valuable at an antique market.
Lots of people collect frogs and elephants. Owls are also popular, I collect tortoises , turtles and terrapins.That Trunk is stunning.

Years ago I did something similar with yard gnomes to my sister! They even wound up in her suitcase on trips she took to Florida! 🤣😂
It's especially good to keep a sense of humor after you've done all that work clearing out a unit that doesn't give back a big reward!
Vintage sheets are becoming a thing and those white ones with the rainbow on the ends scream 1980s to me! There were a lot of vintage linens in that chest that could bring in a few bucks.
I think you could possibly get 250-300 for that chest! I would have paid that much for something that awesome looking! On to the next! 👍
The cat with a lamp in the bak at 23:08/41:17 is an old television lamp that would sit on top of the old console TVs and was in fashion in the late 50's and 60's.
My parents had that same one and I am 69 years of age.

I bought wooden hope chests for my daughters, when they graduated in 99. and they cost a $199. Just for basic wooden boxes. No ornamentation no locks no hardware. Exceptfor the hinges on the back. I really hope you have set a higher price. And you get it.

My Dad brought a beautiful hand carved trunk back from the Philippine's in 1936. It is awesome!
That clown painting could be by one of the most famous Arts and Craft jewellers who was also an artist. Her pieces are in galleries all over USA including Chicago Museum of Art.
Sorry I had to leave you guys. So much happening so decided to downsize. If I follow you, staying a paid subscriber, I know it would be difficult not to buy. I actually have a storage unit filled with 50+ yrs of stuff including Scuba Diving Gear, Christmas Ornaments, Bell Collection, Kitchen, etc., so I don't need more. I wish you much success always. My sister had a siamese cat that was lighter colored very pretty but her really Siamese cat broke it. Guess he was jealous 😏

If you ever come over here to Japan make sure to check out the store called 390 in Japanese they call it (THANK-YOU) were everything is ¥390 yen or about $3.90. They have lots of the American troll items,😍💯‼️ I got a really cute neon pink haired troll bank from there. We've been living here 28 yrs. now in Japan🥰‼️👨👩👧👧🇺🇸🇯🇵🌏🗻🗾💪💪💪

The pink little cloth house in the trunk goes over a box of Kleenex. The sheets are groovy. The trays are great. The linens in one lot would be nice.

I'm new to the channel, so this may have been mentioned already, excuse me if it has...but also good info for anyone reading this that enjoys finding stuff to sell and/or donate (love all my fellow pickers, keepin useable stuff out of the landfills!)
Ask your local animal shelter(s) if they want blankets/bedding. Especially electric blankets! They're great for animals after surgery.

The cat with the light is an old TV light. In the '50s and '60s, they would put lights on the tv so that the table lights would not shine on the tv screen and there would still be light in the living room. It would be good for the vintage market.

The miscellaneous wood pieces in the decorative trunk are probably cedar boards to keep moths out of the linens. The seed necklace is most likely made of apple seeds, and such necklaces were must-have hippie gear in 1968. Vintage market, for sure! Thanks for another fun video.

That box with the mirror is a “shadow box”. Very popular in 70’s. You got a box and filled it with your favorites.

The cloth house is Kleenex box cover. The tissues are pulled through the chimney.

That Bible looks exactly like the one my mom had that I have now. Except that one is in MUCH better condition. My mom's has been through 4 kids, two grandchildren she unfortunately never got to meet and more moves than I can count. It's amazing of all the things I've lost while moving, that big beautiful Bible always finds it's way to it's new home!

Jack: Are the two blue & white elephants Blue Delft? The Green one is Blue Mountain Pottery highly collectables here in Nova Scotia! Can't wait to see Janna's reaction to the frog. LOL
There are three colours for “ Blue mountain pottery, ( like that little elephant, there are mixed blue, mixed green, and mixed red. The red is worth the most( most rare) but yes, highly collectable. Made in Collingwood Ontario, Canada.

I know someone who collects anything with frogs. My roommates mom collected anything with pigs or chickens. My sister n laws mom collected anything with owls. So much she turned a bedroom into what we called the owl room. What you might not think is worth anything people will buy. My aunt collected salt & pepper shakers & had close to 200 when she passed.

My late collected elephants, she cared little if they were expensive or she bought them at Dollar Tree. When she died we had over 4000 (yes 4 thousand) elephants of all shapes & sizes. She even kept broken ones. All in all she had over 6000 in the house, not including glasses, dishes, forks & spoons, pictures & paintings. A true elephant collector lives for elephants. To think it all started when I bought her a little silver elephant on a chain. People who knew her would stop by & drop off elephants for her. She has a large white one on her grave. Just letting you know, how avid a person who collects elephants can be. (We even bought elephant booties shoes & chairs for the grandkids).

I have been binge watching your videos. I wanted to add a comment on the medications and diabetic supplies. Contact your local home health people in your area. There are a lot of folks out there who can’t afford their meds and supplies. If the dates are okay and sealed they can be used. God bless you and your family.
Almond oil and olive oil do the same are a touch of lemon juice to the olive oil and a bit of white vanilla to the almond oil.you could also add a light get stain added to either would help diminish the rings and scratches and blend the colour better

Tetanus shot! Nice finds, I like the Koehler picture. Just purchased some Skelton prints which I framed.
Take some spray laquer for those areas of chipped wood to seal it and make it look distressed instead of chipped.

Jack you need to research that trunk. It could possibly be worth way more than a 100 bucks. My dad brought one back from Korea in the 50’s and my sister has it and has been offered ungodly amounts of money for it. Check it out, I would put it on eBay with a starting bid of $500 and see where it goes from there.

FYI lint seed oil is excellent for cleaning and restoring wood. It does smell but that will go away in a couple days.
