Bottom line is that fireworks are against the law in NY. You light them off, you’re breaking the law. Anyone who lives in NY knows they are illegal… that’s why they drive to PA or get a list from someone else who is. Should people breaking the law be allowed to do as they please OR should they be held accountable for breaking the law? Should the laws be bent because some people consider it fun? Only you can choose your morals and the ethics you live by. ❤
Yes, hopefully they enforce people getting arrested for illegal fireworks, because I don't want to spend my July 4th standing outside to make sure my house isn't on fire.
The local news maybe posts one fire from fireworks a year and people like you run with it. Stupid people win stupid prizes. Responsible people would never hold a lit firework in their hand.

I think neighborhood fireworks are awesome on the 4th.. Unfortunately some people get really stupid with them and go too far..
