Thank you and great question! The hard shutoff is pretty much the only option. It's always saving what you are doing and will come right back on where you left it. When it's on my desk like this for videos, I unplug it when I'm done. When it's on my board, I leave it plugged in and kill the power to my whole board. That's my favorite because I'll plug the power in and everything comes on together. Still could have been nice to have a power switch. The X5 is a lot of fun. Enjoy!
I can try. Here's the link to their Downloads page. I've got it pulled up but I don't know if it will take you to the same thing. www.tcelectronic.com/downloads.html Try Searching Product-Plethora X5 (or X3), Type-Software, Sub-Type-Firmware. Your looking for version 1.4.3 Released on 2023-10-17 (how it's listed on the site) Let me know if you are still having trouble and we can trouble shoot some stuff. Theirs also some very helpful groups on Facebook that I'm a part of too. TC keeps tabs on those pages too.
Sorry for the delayed response, I was away from my Plethora for a bit. I really thought there was a way to undo the last thing recorded by using the Midi functions but I'm not seeing it now. There are commands for Record, Play, Clear & Pause; but not undo. Sorry. Maybe you could come up with a work around by using multiple Loopers. You could use a Midi controller to send those 4 Looper commands to specific pedals.
good video. was wondering if you leave your pedal on or unplug it?? i just bought one and don't want to hurt it by a hard shut off.

Thank you for the video! In fact, I was not able to locate the firmware update on the TC electronic site! Can you share the link?

SIR, HOW DID YOU GET THOSE EFFECTS ICONS ON THE SCREEN? I CANNOT FIND HOW TO IN THE MANUAL AND IT LOOKS SOO COOL. THANK YOU! LUDEK
Hi Ludek! Glad you asked. To get the cricle icons for each of the effects start by switching into Edit Mode. Then from Settings go to Global
Thank you! Already found it. It looks so cool as Plethora sounds
When I record a loop and stack them how do I delete just the last stack?
