The Fear of Living (mental health short film)

This short film includes themes of mental health.
Story behind this film:
Half a year after Bram and I met at a film screening, he asked me if I wanted to play in his graduation short film. I asked Bram if I could write the script, my first script, written from the experiences with my own mental health. I wanted the main character to be generic, so it's open for your own perspective. We had only two weeks to write it and produce it. I stayed up at night and wrote scene after scene, sending Bram multiple versions to evaluate, rewrite and then send back to me. To get these incredible film shots in nature, we (Bram, Nina and me) travelled to Mallorca, Spain for just three days, waking up at 4am to catch the sunrise and sleeping late after rearranging the film shots for a few hours (the basic short film experience tbh). The rest of the film we shot in The Netherlands, together with an amazing small team of professionals. This film was made with no budget, so we are incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported this journey. We wish to share this short film on mental health with the world, especially those who find themselves struggling and need a digital hug.
