Adult Swim about to give me nightmares
I'm so glad the one time I experienced sleep paralysis, it was only for around 10 minutes and I only couldn't move, I didn't see any hallucination near me.

I didn't see anything the few times I had sleep paralysis (that I know for sure were sleep paralyses and not some other type of hallucination where I happened to be held down upon waking up) either, and they were less than a minute long for me. But despite that, I spent the whole time each time trying to use my go-to method of waking up at the time which was screaming. Even the time I had sleep paralysis at a camp and was surrounded by sleeping acquaintances, I was DETERMINED to scream. But in my defense, I did have an an _auditory_ hallucination that time that sounded like a spooky music box like the beginning of "Creepy Doll" by Jonathan Coulton (a camp activity the previous day was making old fashioned looking dolls and other kids called the dolls "creepy" which reminded me of the song), so I had more incentive to wake up due to being spooked. Another time, I screamed in the face of a cat who I didn't see until I managed to scream, so maybe that was a hallucination?

Tbh I don't think it was made to scare kids. In general back in those days all the adult swim bumps were all a bit ominous. I feel like this was made to promote music but it just never took off so they made it into this. And I say that cuz of the albums Ghostly swim, and unclassified were released in that way
@@hamiltonmcgregor5534it was probably so kids wouldn’t stay up late to watch the shows made for adults since they would get complaints from parents and these bumpers were made so the kids would get scared and turn off the tv immediately and they would be scared to tell their parents since they might get in trouble.
Bro my dad used to turn on Adult Swim in my room when I was little so I’d go to sleep. I think he knew that I was horrified of the Robot Chicken opening. Anyways idk why he did that because that just made things worse cause I would be scared to go to sleep lol

Do a video on adult swim filler show called "too many cooks". It's hilarious watching it as an adult, but if a kid saw it at 3 in the morning they would feel like it's a fever dream. It starts off as a normal family sitcom intro, then never stops and gets darker as it keeps going. I find it hilarious and the theme song is catchy too. Too many cooks!

K saw an explanation for this once, but I can't remember exactly. I think that the words and music weren't originally there, then someone took the original and made that to put on TH-cam. CN thought it was funny and did that too. I think that was some of the explanation.
Adult Swim after around 1-2am goes from adult humor to what in the lords name is that. It has very contemporary-esque/analog like horror and as it gets closer to when children are getting up the more weird it gets. Would recommend just watching it one time and see what you see.

Thank god I didn't live in an area of a nation where adult swims are even aired at the time (presumably my local cable hate adult swim content). After Cartoon Network signed off, it turned to black (end of transmission style), and because of it, my bro and I turned on Disney Channel to watch reruns.

(parenting life) but I remember this bump from when I was 12-13, adult swim was always putting crazy shit on the air. 2011 Off The Air marathon 2:00am -2:00am (clocks went back) was the crazy shit I’d ever seen and then they continued that every year. Still waiting on a channel dedicated to ONLY Adult Swim that played all day… wishful thinking 😅

I remember do waking up in the middle of night, maybe 5-ish? I was sleeping with my mom in her room, the TV was already on Adult Swim. I got out of bed, moved close to the TV and that commercial aired, I was scared and unnerved so I had decided to wake up my mom and tell her what I saw, she dismissed it as me having a nightmare and I never seen it again. (Sounds like a creepypasta story lol but that was how it went.)

I don't remember seeing this when I was 2 years old from 2010. And I still haven't seen it while it'r return in 2023.
This is a definite thing where children saw but due to being a child was beloved to be in their imagination. The amount of times this happened to me with movies or small snippets remembered of some show I remember where adults just thought I was just being a kid but the last few years put up what I could remember of them in what's that movie or tv show Reddits who give an answer in a couple of hours (every SINGLE time).

Then It was 2 A.M And the screen suddenly turned black. I thought the TV broke so I told my mom. When I was back The TV was having weird noices. I walked up To The TV and My Mom was so confused bc In Korea They Give A Warning + We Dont Have It On Normal TVShows. I hitted the TV 3 times and wait about A Minute, Right When I was going to give up This Popped Up And I Got Scared. My mom was just Laughing At Me And Then We Slept I Couldn't Sleep Bc I Was Scared So I Rushed To My Moms And My Dads Room And I Slept With Them.
