Hi guys...nice sortie all around. Shame about Berenged's over-rev but it happens even with the D.VII's though it's rarer. I'm doing an Albetros D.II Career (Career mode of FC) but during the middle of September 1916 our flight was jumped by two different Brit squads...one flight of Nieuport 17's and one flight of Sopwith Camels! I mean, Camels?! I thought 'WTF?!' They're not due for active service til June 1917 and boy were we outclassed! I did manage to down one (at the cost of about 600 rounds!) but they were all over us...I finally got a chance to run and brother, I ran...made it home but I was pretty miffed about their very existence at that time. It's only happened during that two day period so far so maybe just a glitch but, all the same, what the hell? Anyway, really enjoying you guys and your careers so keep it up and look forward to the further adventures of Rawlings & Berenged!!! Cheers guys.
@@Alembic298 It was a DVII! I haven't read what I would consider an exhaustive amount of WWI aviation books, but you do tend to see a lot more about wings shredding in a dive and not much about engines getting cooked. FC tends to lean heavily into the latter, however. Also, on rewatching, I certainly could have edited some of that climb out! Oh well, next time!
Also, I'll mention this while I am thinking about it: I think I have solved the stutter problem on the videos, it seems it was caused by rendering at 59.blah blah frames per second. Dropping down to 50 seems to have fixed that. Unfortunately, there's quite a backlog of FC videos until we get there...

Great Flight! too bad about the over rev on the DR1 but at least got credited with 1. The Albatros seems more stable.
