Thankyou❤ I've lived alone on my land for years, tending my woodland, orchard, pond and building with stone, clay, hay and felled timber. I've been told I should vlog what I do, but am clueless on how to start. You've started my ball rolling 🙏
That sounds amazing ❤ one thing I’d suggest is to just start noticing the little things like the way the sunlight falls on certain things or the shadows etc, also try shooting 24fps I’ve learnt that recently, it can make a big difference to the look and feel of the video and give off a more cinematic feel x
Thanks, great content. There is many how to videos out here on how to make noisy, fast talking and stressing content.😌but not so much for us silent creators.
This is exactly the video I needed!! I am working on my first silent vlog from a day out in Hampstead Heath, a gorgeous park in London, but it has been sitting on my to-do list because I've been nervous about the editing process. This video is super helpful!
This was very helpful and at the same time so beautifully done! Best "how to" video of this kind I have seen. I was glued to the screen from one end to the other.
Since you asked, here are some editing tips from someone who is also making this kind of videos and found your video very relatable: 1. Press ‘T’ for a new subtitle each time instant of right-clicking 2. Customize 1, 2, and 3 keys to ‘cut before playhead’, ‘cut’ and ‘cut after playhead 3. Create a custom timeline to start from for each video, which will have your coloring nodes in an adjustment layer as default Still trying to solve how to write subtitles quicker as I, too, spend almost as much time on them as on editing! Good luck.
One advice I can add is to use Capcut for editing. I tried Davinci before and found the steep learning curve to be very discouraging. Capcut is a full feature editing software and much more intuitive, especially when it comes to transitions and key framing. Also many things are just a click. Such as auto caption, split scenes, etc
Your video has a nice, rich film look. Is that from the color grading, or does it come straight out of the camera that way? Can you share which camera and picture profile you like to use? Thank you!
I struggle to come up with a story, im a depressed introvert with anxiety adhd and ocd, its not that i dont want to make videos i just dont know where to begin
You definitely need to get a good mic. Listening to the same piano, after a while it gets a bit boring. Sometimes it good to capture natural sounds of birds, cats, natural flowing spring water etc.

@Naimah_Vlogs Thanks for that. One thing my periferal landscape does, is spectacular light shows due to the terrain's microclimate.

Watch MarkusPix vids for advise on decent wired/wireless microphones
