I've fished that peg a few times and never been snagged under the tree on the pole. Might be worth a try if you get drawn there again.

Never got on with that style of puller kit, coming from the butt of the pole, just awkward to strip back. Don't you find it difficult mate?
All my others are through the side. Although red hydro is quite thick so it’s easier to come through the bottom Hope you enjoyed the vid pal
